Biodegradable coffin assembly
A coffin for use in the containment and storage of a human or animal corpse. The coffin comprises; a tubular housing comprising a wall defining an internal space; the wall formed from a cellulose fibre material and capable of retaining the corpse in the internal space. The coffin further comprises a part which receives and retains a body when in use. The invention is essentially a cylindrical, tubular form, to form a receptacle to serve as a cremation/burial vessel, free of corners, angles and sharp edges and manufactured from a biodegradable material. The invention contemplates use of screws—preferably stainless steel to secure those elements such as the end walls which require releasable fixation. One suitable non-toxic biodegradable material is recycled cellulose fibre such as cardboard or used paper products. Other materials used in construction of the invention include, plantation timber framing, plywood end closures, screw fixation, water based adhesive as required, nontoxic water based paint, and quantities of water based craft adhesive.

The casket includes a hinge for the side wall and the lid, adapted to allow the movement thereof by rotation, and where the bag includes handles and closing ties to facilitate insertion of the body into the casket, extraction therefrom and loading thereof into the crematory, wherein the casket includes rotation hinges of pivot type, adapted to allow reversible lifting of the related side wall.
IDENTIFICATION BED
An identification bed assembly for displaying a body for identification. The bed assembly includes a bed structure having a headboard, a first sub-structure having a head end and a foot end and a second sub-structure having a head end and a foot end, where the head end of the first sub-structure is attached to one side of the headboard and the head end of the second sub-structure is attached to another side of the headboard so that an opening is provided between the first and second sub-structures. The bed structure further includes a door coupled to the foot end of the first sub-structure by hinges and being latchable to the foot end of the second sub-structure by a latch. The bed assembly further includes a rolling table that is rollable into the opening between the sub-structures when the door is unlatched and open and is disguised from view.

Compact hinged casket handle
A casket includes two side panel structures, two end panels, and a bottom panel. Each end panel is operably coupled to both of the side panel structures. The bottom panel, the two side panel structures and two end panels form, at least in part, a casket container configured to receive adult human remains. Each side panel structure includes a fixed member and a movable member. Each movable member is coupled to one of the fixed members such that each movable member is rotatable relative to the fixed members between a first position and a second position. When each of the movable members is in the first position, the outer surfaces of the movable member and the fixed member are substantially coplanar. When each of the movable members is in the second position, the outer surfaces of the movable member and fixed member are not substantially coplanar.
Reusable transparent casket assembly
A casket assembly includes a floor structure, transparent side walls and end walls extending upwardly from a lower rail to define side panels and end panels, and a transparent lid attached to at least one of the side walls. A cardboard insert container made of a material suitable for cremation is sized for receipt within the enclosed casket interior. At least one of the side panels or end panels is movable between a closed position to completely enclose the casket interior and an open position to allow horizontal movement of the insert container holding a deceased human body into and out from the casket interior without having to lift the insert container over the top edge of the side and end panels.
A BOX FOR USE AS A COFFIN
A box (200) is disclosed. The box is manufactured from a first part (2), a second part (4) and a third part (6) of a sheet material, which parts have been subjected to gluing to each other with adhesive (8) so as to form a box shape; wherein said first part (2) of said sheet material represents a bottom portion (10), a first side portion (12) and a second side portion (14) of said box, respectively, as a coherent entity; wherein said second part (4) and said third part (6) represent opposite end portions (16,18) of said box; wherein said first part (2) is having an extension in a first direction X and in a second direction Y; said first direction X is being perpendicular to said second direction Y; wherein said first part (2) comprises a first side edge (20), a second side edge (22), a first end edge (24) and a second end edge (26); wherein said first part (2) along said first side edge (20) thereof comprises a first inner side edge recess (28) being cut into the material of said first part; and a first outer side edge recess (30) being cut into the material of said first part; wherein said first part (2) along said second side edge (24) thereof comprises a second inner side edge recess (36) being cut into the material of said first part; and a second outer side edge recess (34) being cut into the material of said first part; wherein said first part (2) along said first end edge (22) thereof comprises a first inner end edge recess (32) being cut into the material of said first part and a first outer end edge recess 38 being cut into the material of said first part; wherein said first part (2) along said second end edge (26) thereof comprises a second inner end edge recess (40) being cut into the material of said first part and a second outer end edge recess (42) being cut into the material of said first part; wherein a first fold line (44) and a second fold line (46), each being parallel to said first direction (X), are being defined between said first inner side edge recess (28) and said second inner side edge recess (32); thereby defining a bottom portion (10) being arranged between said two side portions (12,14) of said first part; wherein in respect of each of the two side edges (20,22) and in respect of each of the two end edges (24,26), the material of said first part, along the inner and the outer recesses (28,30); (32,34); (36,38); and (
