Collapsible casket with reduced shipping and/or storage footprint
A folded blank includes a bottom panel, side panels, and end panels. The bottom panel has opposite side edges and opposite end edges defining a length and width sized to support a deceased human body in the supine position. The side panels are connected to the opposite side edges of the bottom panel, and extend outward from and substantially parallel to the bottom panel. The end panels are foldably connected to the opposite end edges of the bottom panel, and are folded to extend inward from the corresponding opposite end edges. The folded blank also includes at least one gusset foldably connected to a side panel along a first fold line and connected to an end panel along a second fold line. The gusset has a diagonal fold, and has a first surface disposed adjacent to and coupled to the side panel in an additional location away from the first fold line.
CASKET ORNAMENT ATTACHMENT MECHANISM
A combination cremation urn and ornament comprises a base adapted to receive cremation ashes therein, an upstanding post mounted to an upper surface of said base and extending upwardly therefrom, and a decorative ornament that is three-dimensional an entire 360 degrees about a vertical axis of said decorative ornament, said decorative ornament having a hole extending upwardly from a bottom thereof into said decorative ornament, said post received in said hole as said decorative ornament is positioned on said base to secure said decorative ornament to said base.
Casket hardware attachment structure
Hardware for a casket comprises a clevis having a pair of side walls, a back wall adapted to be attached to the casket shell wall, a pair of tabs each of which extends laterally outwardly from a respective one of the side walls and each of which is spaced forwardly from the rear wall, an arm pivoted at an upper end to the clevis, and a decorative ear having a downwardly facing recess in a lower edge thereof and a pair of tapered resilient arms each of which is located on a respective side of the recess, each resilient arm having a laterally inwardly projecting tab on a lower free end thereof, each resilient arm becoming progressively thicker from the free end toward a base thereof as measured in a direction generally normal to the casket shell wall.
IDENTIFICATION BED
An identification bed assembly for displaying a body for identification. The bed assembly includes a bed structure having a headboard, a first sub-structure having a head end and a foot end and a second sub-structure having a head end and a foot end, where the head end of the first sub-structure is attached to one side of the headboard and the head end of the second sub-structure is attached to another side of the headboard so that an opening is provided between the first and second sub-structures. The bed structure further includes a door coupled to the foot end of the first sub-structure by hinges and being latchable to the foot end of the second sub-structure by a latch. The bed assembly further includes a rolling table that is rollable into the opening between the sub-structures when the door is unlatched and open and is disguised from view.

Identification bed
An identification bed assembly for displaying a body for identification. The bed assembly includes a bed structure having a headboard, a first sub-structure having a head end and a foot end and a second sub-structure having a head end and a foot end, where the head end of the first sub-structure is attached to one side of the headboard and the head end of the second sub-structure is attached to another side of the headboard so that an opening is provided between the first and second sub-structures. The bed structure further includes a door coupled to the foot end of the first sub-structure by hinges and being latchable to the foot end of the second sub-structure by a latch. The bed assembly further includes a rolling table that is rollable into the opening between the sub-structures when the door is unlatched and open and is disguised from view.
CASKET ORNAMENT ATTACHMENT MECHANISM
A combination casket and ornament comprises a casket shell having a pair of keyhole-shaped grooves in a corner thereof, an L-shaped adapter having a leg and a foot, the leg having a pair of studs on a rear side thereof each of which is received in a respective one of the keyhole-shaped grooves, and a decorative ornament that is three-dimensional an entire 360 degrees about a vertical axis of the ornament, the ornament positioned on the foot of the L-shaped adapter.
