A balance assist and fall prevention assembly for preventing falls and providing balance assistance includes a plurality of rails and a harness. The rails are mountable to a ceiling of a structure and are selectively interconnectable so that respective rails are extend along an associated route in the structure that is routinely traversed by a user. A trolley is rollably engaged to the plurality of rails. The harness can be selectively donned by the user so that the harness is removably engaged to the user. A tether is engaged to and extends between the harness and the trolley. The tether is selectively length adjustable so as to extend substantially linearly between the harness and the trolley with the user standing substantially upright and beneath the trolley. The tether thus improves balance of the user and to prevents falling of the user.

A lifting belt assembly for lifting or repositioning a non-ambulatory person includes a belt that is slidable behind or beneath a non-ambulatory person that needs to be moved or repositioned. The belt is comprised of a friction inhibiting material to enhance sliding the belt behind or beneath the non-ambulatory person. The belt has a pair of gripping holes each extending therethrough to facilitate a caregiver to grip the belt for lifting or repositioning the non-ambulatory person. A set of first pads is each coupled to the belt and each of the first pads is aligned with a respective one of the gripping holes. A set of second pads is each coupled to the belt and each of the second pads is aligned with a respective one of the gripping holes.

A lift, a head support, and methods for use thereof for use with a surgical frame are provided. The lift and the head support can be used with the surgical frame that is capable of reconfiguration before, during, or after surgery. The surgical frame can include a main beam that can be rotated, raised/lowered, and tilted upwardly/downwardly to afford positioning and repositioning of a patient supported thereon, and the lift and the head support can be used in lifting the patient from a table/gurney and positioning the patient with respect to the main beam.

A jaw support device for supporting a patient's jaw during dental procedures. More specifically, a jaw support device comprising a headrest mount assembly, a split sphere assembly having a first locking mechanism, a ball joint assembly having a second locking mechanism, and a jaw rest assembly. The headrest mount assembly may attach to a dental chair headrest. The split sphere assembly may have a split sphere ball and an arm extension and may attach to the headrest mount assembly. Further, the split sphere assembly's first locking mechanism may lock the arm extension in place. The ball joint assembly may have a ball joint ball and may connect to the arm extension of the split sphere assembly. The jaw rest assembly may attach to the ball joint assembly and may be locked in place when the second locking mechanism is activated.

A support device created for children having a disability limiting their ability to stand-alone for extended periods of time, for those who are a fall risk, and for those with any physical or intellectual disability. The device has a frame that gives stability to the whole member. A seat is positioned in the middle of the frame for a child to use as a place to rest when desired, where the seat can catch the child if the child stumbles or falls. The seat is configured to be positioned below the child's torso when the child is standing as a safety support. This allows the child to stand, such as to watch TV, or stand on a movable game hoard of a video game system. The frame has a member that can be selectively removed or retracted such that the child can walk into the frame. Ankle restraints are provided and configured to attach to the child and keep the child's feet inside of the device and below the child.

The third section may be gripped by a user thereby facilitating the third section to lift the user from a seated position.

Each of the first section, the second section and the third section are removably coupled together. The first section may be rolled along a support surface. A lifting unit is coupled to the cart and the lifting unit is positioned on the second section. The lifting unit selectively urges the third section upwardly with respect to the support surface. The third section may be gripped by a user thereby facilitating the third section to lift the user from a seated position.
