Folding rollator
A rollator to aid mobility is described. The rollator comprises an A-frame with two pairs of uprights, each pair of uprights connected by at least one respective hinge to allow each pair of uprights to be folded or pivot front-to-back and a seat disposed between the two pairs of uprights, the seat foldable side-to-side. To fold compactly the rollator comprises an X-shaped cross-linkage comprising four linkage members. A method of manufacturing the rollator is also disclosed. The four linkage members may extend from a respective upright to a central hub underneath the seat. The cross-linkage may fold or pivot at the central hub in both front-to back and side-to-side dimensions when the rollator is folded away.
Foldable Vehicle
A vehicle may include a frame having a first portion, a second portion, and a tiller. The first portion may be coupled to a front wheel and to the tiller. The second portion may be coupled to a rear wheel and detachably coupled to the first portion. A method of transitioning the vehicle between a folded configuration and an unfolded configuration may include rotating the first portion of the frame relative to the second portion of the frame between the folded configuration and unfolded configuration to cause the first portion of the frame to lock to the second portion of the frame.
PERSONAL MOBILITY VEHICLE
This application relates to a personal mobility vehicle. The vehicle comprises: a front leg unit, including a front vehicle body and a front wheel mounted thereon; a rear leg unit, including a rear vehicle body and a rear wheel mounted thereon; a seat unit pivotally connected to the front vehicle body and/or rear vehicle body; a backrest unit including a backrest pivotally connected to the seat unit; and a slider on the rear vehicle body, pivotally connected to the seat unit and/or backrest unit. As the slider moves, the front vehicle body and rear vehicle body move apart or toward each other, while the seat unit rotates. The vehicle facilitates folding and unfolding, improving the user experience.
