Auxiliary drive device for a wheelchair
An auxiliary drive device for a wheelchair has at least one electrically driven drive wheel and a coupling mechanism for coupling the auxiliary drive device to the wheelchair. The coupling mechanism includes a movable locking element which is movably supported in the coupling mechanism. The movable locking element can be in a locking position in which it causes locking in a positive-locking manner so that the auxiliary drive device is coupled to the wheelchair and, by operation of a handle, the locking element can be moved in a release position in which uncoupling of the auxiliary drive device from the wheelchair is possible.
Towing module, a personal mobility including the same, and a control method for a personal mobility
A towing module of a personal mobility includes: a main body provided to extend in a vertical direction and in which a battery is mounted: a driving wheel installed on a lower portion of the main body and having a driving motor: a steering handle installed on an upper portion of the main body; and a connector provided in the main body to selectively connect one of various types of modules to be towed. The main body is maintained in a standing state while driving by the connection to the module to be towed. A personal mobility and a control method thereof utilize the towing module.
VEHICLE CONTROL METHOD, CONTROL DEVICE, AND VEHICLE CONTROL SYSTEM
A vehicle control method to be executed by a controller for controlling a vehicle that travels in an area including a plurality of floors, wherein the controller is configured to: in a case where detecting occurrence of a disaster and determining that a floor on which the vehicle exists is different from a floor on which a first evacuation place being a priority evacuation place exists, set a destination to a second evacuation place existing on a floor that is a same as the floor on which the vehicle exists; and cause the vehicle to move to the second evacuation place.
MOTORIZED WHEELCHAIR WITH ADJUSTMENT AND COMPACTION SYSTEM AND ATTACHABLE OFF-ROAD KIT WITH ASSEMBLY SYSTEM
A motorized wheelchair controlled by electronic control, equipped with a structure adapted to receive a series of quick adjustments and an off-road kit to allow its locomotion through differentiated, rough and inhospitable terrains. Said wheelchair is formed by a tubular metallic structure composed of a seat structure, backrest structure, armrest and lower support structure equipped with a front wheel and rear wheel. The off-road kit consists of a pair of rear wheels with off-road or mixed tires equipped with their own rotating motor, and a pair of front wheels with off-road or mixed tires, being such wheels engaged and fixed to the chair, easily and quickly replacing the original ones.
Input devices for controlling a wheelchair
A system for controlling a wheelchair is disclosed. The system includes an input device that includes a shaft element, a base element, and one or more annular elements. A lower distal end of the shaft element is coupled to the base element, and the shaft element is configured to pivotally move about the lower distal end of the shaft element. A first annular element of the one or more annular elements is circumferentially disposed around the shaft element. The first annular element is coupled to the base element, and the first annular element is configured to rotate about the shaft element. The input device is configured to generate one or more input signals based on a position of the first annular element and a pivotal movement of the shaft element. The one or more input signals are configured to cause a controller to set an operation mode of the wheelchair.
EXERCISE PEDAL WHEEL ACCESSORY AND ATTACHMENT BRACKET FOR WHEELCHAIRS
A pedal wheel accessory (2) and bracket (19) for attaching such a wheeled device to a wheelchair (1), the bracket having an elongated bar (20) having a top and bottom end with a connecting collar (7) at the top end for attachment to the post (6) of the wheeled device and a T-connector (8) at the bottom end of the elongated bar for attachment to a wheelchair, said T-connector having a crossbar (21) with clamps (9) at each end for attachment to bars (18) on the chassis of a wheelchair.
Pneumatic powered mobility devices
A personal mobility device includes a frame, a plurality of wheels attached to the frame and one or more pneumatic motors. Each of the one or more pneumatic motors has a drive shaft in operative connection with at least one of the plurality of wheels. The personal mobility device further includes at least one tank (that is, a storage container) for storage of a pressurized gas in operative connection with the one or more pneumatic motors to supply pressurized gas to the one or more pneumatic motors and a control system in operative connection with the at least one tank and with the one or more pneumatic motors.
Transfer device
Provided is a transfer device capable of moving a care receiver who has difficulty in walking by himself/herself to a desired place in a comfortable posture. The transfer device is capable of moving a care receiver by a care giver. The transfer device includes: a front wheel and a rear wheel; a support body which supports an upper body of the care receiver; a leg guide portion which is brought into contact with lower leg front surfaces of the care receiver and is inclinable frontward from an approximately vertical state; and a foot placing portion on which soles of the care receiver are placed; a rear wheel advancing and retracting mechanism configured to move the rear wheel rearward in an interlocking manner with frontward inclining of the leg guide portion.
Articulated Wheel
A rugged and compact articulated wheel with at least two hubs, and wheeled vehicles that include one or more of such articulated wheels.
REMOVABLE ELECTRIC PROPULSION SYSTEM FOR A ROLLING OBJECT WITH A DEVICE FOR RELEASING THE HANDLEBAR
The present invention relates to a removable electric propulsion system (1) intended to be coupled to a rolling object. Propulsion system (1) comprises a frame (2) provided with at least one wheel (3) driven by an electric machine, and at least one non-driven wheel (4), a handlebar (20) and means (5) for coupling the propulsion system to the rolling object, coupling means (5) comprising means for gripping and lifting at least one wheel of the rolling object. Handlebar (20) comprises a connection with frame (2) and/or driven wheel (3). Furthermore, the connection comprises a means (12) for locking/unlocking the handlebar relative to frame (2) and/or to a driven wheel (3) from a locking position where handlebar (20) is attached to frame (2) and/or to driven wheel (3), this locked position of handlebar (20) enabling electric propulsion system (1) to be moved by means of handlebar (20), to an unlocking position enabling at least free motion of handlebar (20) relative to frame (2) and/or driven wheel (3).
