Auxiliary drive device for a wheelchair
An auxiliary drive device for a wheelchair has at least one electrically driven drive wheel and a coupling mechanism for coupling the auxiliary drive device to the wheelchair. The coupling mechanism includes a movable locking element which is movably supported in the coupling mechanism. The movable locking element can be in a locking position in which it causes locking in a positive-locking manner so that the auxiliary drive device is coupled to the wheelchair and, by operation of a handle, the locking element can be moved in a release position in which uncoupling of the auxiliary drive device from the wheelchair is possible.
Electromobility vehicle
This electromobility vehicle includes a vehicle frame, a seat unit mounted to the vehicle frame, a suspension mounted to a front-end side of the vehicle frame, a pair of front wheels aligned in a direction parallel to a width dimension of the vehicle and supported by the suspension, at least one rear wheel supported by the vehicle frame, and a drive device that drives either of the front wheels and the rear wheel, where the front wheels are omnidirectional wheels whose outer circumferential surfaces are formed by a plurality of rollers and the pair of front wheels is supported by the suspension such that it is placed in a toe-in arrangement.

AUXILIARY DRIVE DEVICE FOR A WHEELCHAIR
An auxiliary drive device for a wheelchair has at least one freely pivotable electrically driven drive wheel and a coupling mechanism for coupling the auxiliary drive device to the wheelchair.
WHEELCHAIR CASTER ASSEMBLY
A caster assembly for a wheelchair comprises a stem having a frame clamp at a first end and a fork clamp at a second end, the frame clamp configured to form a frame joint with at least one rotational degree of freedom with a frame portion of the wheelchair, a tightening of the frame clamp securing the stem to the frame portion, the frame joint having a frame rotational axis. A fork unit has a fork portion and a caster rotatably supported by the fork portion, the fork unit having swivel mechanism, and a joint portion forming a rotational joint with the fork clamp of the stem, a tightening of the fork clamp blocking rotation of the rotational joint, the rotational joint having a fork rotational axis. A vector of the fork rotational axis is normal to a fork rotational plane in which the fork rotates relative to the stem, and further wherein the frame rotational axis is not parallel to the fork rotational plane.
CHILD MOBILITY DEVICE
Techniques are disclosed to enable a mobility device for a toddler with gross motor disabilities. The mobility device has a skid plate of substantially rigid material having a front end and a back end and two rigid side plates. The mobility device also has two wheels rotatably attached to the rigid side plates by way of first and second axles. Additionally, it has a seat for supporting an underside of the child in an upright, seated position and an adjustable leg holder that moves up and down to support the child's legs and to keep the child in the upright, seated position. An adjustable backrest is provided to position the child an appropriate distance from the leg holder so that the leg holder holds the appropriate part of the child's legs.
Caster wheel support assembly for a wheelchair and wheelchair comprising the same
The caster wheel support assembly has a first section securable to a frame member of a wheelchair and a second section holding a swivel member coupled to a caster wheel. The caster wheel support assembly has a holding member designed as a collet configured to hold a first portion of the swivel member which extends along a first axis. A second portion of the swivel member, which is coupled to the caster wheel, extends away from the first portion along a second axis which forms an angle relative to the first axis. The first portion of the swivel member is supported by the holding member to selectively allow rotation thereof relative to the holding member about the first axis, causing adjustment of a camber of the caster wheel. The collet is configured to selectively prevent or permit rotation of the swivel member relative to the holding member.
Single-handedly operable wheelchair
Provided is a wheelchair that can be easily operated with either a right or left hand. The wheelchair according to the present invention is provided with: a right-left pair of first handrims connected to handrim spokes; a right-left pair of second handrims connected to spokes; a first rotary shaft for transmitting a first rotational force generated by rotation of the left first handrim to a right wheel; and a second rotary shaft for transmitting a second rotational force generated by rotation of the right first handrim to a left wheel, wherein a first power transmission device on a right inner shaft of a right drive mechanism meshes with a second power transmission device on the second rotary shaft, and a third power transmission device on a right outer shaft of the right drive mechanism meshes with a fourth power transmission device on the first rotary shaft.
Mounting unit, caster wheel assembly and wheelchair
A mounting unit for adjustably mounting an add-on piece to a frame, in particular of a wheelchair, includes at least one drum receiving unit having at least one aperture and female thread. The drum receiving unit is an integral part of the frame or adapted to be attached to the frame. At least one drum assembly has at least one hole and a male thread. At least one bolt is part of the add-on piece or adapted to be mounted therewith to hold the add-on piece. The drum receiving unit is adapted to receive the drum assembly. The female thread mates with the male thread and allows an alignment of the position of the hole with respect to the aperture, such that the bolt can be inserted through the aperture at least partly into the hole. The drum receiving unit with the drum assembly and/or the drum assembly with the bolt comprises a detachable form fit connection. At least one of the drum receiving unit, the drum assembly and/or the bolt comprises a detachable force fit connection with respective mating component.
