Bedding device unfolds and straightens bedding on a bed and which is simple in construction, easy to operate by physically weak users, sturdy during operation and angularly adjustable. Bedding device includes an actuator unit, a pair of immovable supports, horizontal adjusters, vertical adjusters, angle adjusters, bedding handlers and a plurality of clamps. Actuator unit is positioned at the base of bed and is connected with an actuating switch positioned nearby the user to be operable by hands or legs. Immovable supports enable sturdy operations. Horizontal adjusters and vertical adjusters adjust bedding handlers in accordance with the size of bed. Angle adjusters angularly adjust bedding handlers so that bedding handlers are in-line with the mattress in an inclined configuration. Bedding handlers have clamps that hold bedding and when actuated by user through actuating unit, bedding handlers unfolds and straightens bedding on mattress of bed.
Sterile surgical drape for ophthalmic surgery
The disclosure herein provides methods, systems, and devices for a sterile ophthalmic surgical drape system that can provide a sterile operating field for use by a doctor, surgeon, nurse, and the like during ophthalmic medical procedures. The sterile field created by the drape system can allow a doctor, surgeon, nurse and the like to perform a medical procedure, such as ophthalmic surgery, outside of an operating room and in locations such as a doctor's office or a military operating room war setting. The sterile ophthalmic surgical drape system can comprise a drape, a frame apparatus, a hole of sufficient size for a microscope, a fan, a filter, air directors, and slits. The drape system can comprise a collapsible frame apparatus. The drape system may be configured to be used in conjunction with a surgical tray that houses pre-sterilized tools for use in a medical procedure.

Adjustable bedding cover height and lengthwise positioning apparatus
An adjustable bedding (18) cover height and lengthwise positioning apparatus (30). A base (32) is configured for positioning between a bed frame (12) and an adjacent mattress (14). At least one riser (36, 38) allows adjustment of the height and lengthwise positioning of bedding with respect to the mattress. A connecting section (34), connected between the base and the risers optionally allows rotation of the risers with respect to the base. A clip (34) is connected to the at least one riser and secures the bedding to the apparatus. An optional top support (40) provides a support width for the bedding which is preferably at least as broad as the width between a user's feet when the user is sleeping on his or her back. An optional friction strip (39) on the base prevents slippage of the apparatus.
Device for Relieving the Weight of Bed Covers on Feet
A device meant for relieving weight of covers on the user's feet. A base connects to a plurality of adjustable base uprights which are affixed to a plurality of curved shields which prevent the user's feet from coming into contact with the blanket. Such a device mitigates stretched ankle tendons, the pointed toe position that causes leg cramping, some symptoms of restless leg syndrome, and unhealthy pressure on the feet and ankles.
Foot support method
A novel foot support device includes a first sidewall adapted to engage the lateral side of a first foot, a second sidewall adapted to engage the lateral side of a second foot, and a backwall adapted to engage both the plantar region of the first foot and the plantar region of the second foot. In a particular embodiment, the first sidewall includes an inclined interior surface, the second sidewall includes an inclined interior surface, and the backwall includes an inclined interior surface. In another particular embodiment, the foot support device includes sidewalls and a backwall that can flatten and pivot relative to one another, facilitating a collapsible foot support device.

Skin injury resistant occupant support structures and methods for resisting skin injuries
An occupant support structure for supporting an occupant includes an orientation adjustable torso section, a lower body section, and a control system. The lower body section includes a heel region subsection which supports the heel region of an occupant of the occupant support. The control system is adapted to A) cause the heel region subsection to temporarily substantially disengage from the heel region of the occupant in response to a change of angular orientation of the torso section which begins at a time t.sub.0, and B) cause the heel region subsection to subsequently re-engage with the heel region of the occupant, the re-engagement occurring at a time t.sub.B which is later than t.sub.0.
