Patient transfer system
Disclosed is a patient transfer system for transferring a user between a bed and a purposefully designed mobile sitting device that is aligned and berthed alongside the bed, wherein, the bed is adaptable to a seated arrangement and includes an interleaf structure of cushions and platforms, the platform including: a padding, a rail, restricted path, or track, and means for transferring the padding in a direction parallel to the ground away or towards the bed; the bed further includes means to raise or lower the top of the cushions or the padding; and the mobile sitting device includes a receiving rail, restricted path or track to receive the padding.
MRI compatible patient trolley
A trolley system configured to transport a patient within an MRI environment includes a patient support portion, a base portion configured for movement relative to a floor, a lift coupled to the patient support portion and the base portion, an electric motor coupled to the lift, and an electric blower coupled to the patient transfer device. The lift is configured to change the elevation of the patient support portion relative to the base portion. The motor is mounted such that the elevation of the motor is fixed relative to base portion. The trolley system is positionable adjacent an MRI apparatus within the MRI environment and the magnetic field of the MRI does not interfere with the operation of the motor or blower. The trolley system may further include a patient transfer device having an air bearing. The blower is configured to deliver air to the air bearing.
Spinal immobilization table
A spinal immobilization board (1) comprising a support body (2) adapted to support the torso and the head of a person; at least one apical anchoring strap (5) configured to secure the head of the person; and an anchoring belt (9) configured to secure a portion of the torso of the person. The board (1) further comprises a gripping means (11) comprising a first and a second lifting handle (12, 13) that are arranged in a respective perimeter portion of the board (1) and extend outwardly from the board. The first and second lifting handles (12, 13) are active on a portion of the board (1) adapted to be arranged near the armpits of the person in a handling condition of the board (1).
Spine board
A spine board is provided having a skull tong anchor assembly slidably attached to the spine board where a push rod mechanism is used to apply traction force on the skull tong anchor assembly. The push rod mechanism includes a strain gauge device so that the traction force can be selected and monitored. The spine board can also include a mattress that can be attached to the spine board where the mattress includes integrated shoulder straps that can be partially detached therefrom to secure a patient to the spine board.
Repositioning system for the safe repositioning of a patient
The invention relates to a transfer device with a roll cloth for transferring patients, wherein the roll cloth has a tubular sleeve with two open ends. In order to satisfy high standards of hygiene and to permit easy cleaning, the roll cloth has, at each of the open ends of the sleeve, a peripheral end profile with an inner face and an outer face, which end profile is elastic, wherein, in the ready-to-use state of the roll cloth, the inner face of an upper portion of the end profile lies on the inner face of a lower portion of the end profile.
Automatically inflatable patient transfer air mattress
Provided is an automatically inflatable patient transfer air mattress designed to enable immobile persons, such as patients with mobility difficulty, to be rapidly laid and transferred thereon in the event of a disaster or an accident, prevent an injury to the patient caused by a falling object dropping from a ceiling or any other place, and reduce impact in the case of movement via stairs. The automatically inflatable patient transfer air mattress includes a main mattress portion forming a plate shape having a predetermined thickness when charged and inflated with air, a protective cover portion provided on one side surface of the main mattress portion in a longitudinal direction, and configured to cover one surface of the main mattress portion when deployed, and a cushion wheel unit disposed on a bottom portion of the main mattress portion to absorb impact from below.
Transfer Mattress
A patient transfer mattress includes elongate top and bottom sheets joined around their perimeter and by one or more baffles to define a cavity between the sheets. The patient transfer mattress also includes a valve in fluid communication with the cavity, and an outwards facing surface of the bottom sheet has a low friction material positioned at or adjacent to it. Methods of forming and using the patient transfer mattress are also disclosed.
Transfer device with platform plate having two-sided functionality
Disclosed is a transfer device having a device body, a transfer platform including a platform plate, and a platform lateral actuator. The platform lateral actuator is configured to selectively move the platform plate laterally relative to the device body, such that the platform plate can be moved between a plurality of positions including (i) a stowed position in which the platform plate is retracted relative to the device body, (ii) a first extended position in which a first transverse edge of the platform plate is a leading edge that extends outward from a first side of the device body, and (iii) a second extended position in which a second transverse edge of the platform plate is a leading edge that extends outward from a second side of the device body. The transfer device also has a transfer belt that goes over the platform plate of the transfer platform.
Bed Comprising a Foldable Board and a Foldable Mattress
A bed including a foldable board and a foldable mattress wherein such that each foldable board and foldable mattress have equal number of foldable parts symmetrically and correspondingly hinged together, each foldable board having roller assemblies embedded in its bottom surface. The said roller assemblies being aligned to each other the mattress includes of foldable side supports and foldable head supports the locking belts securely hold together the bed to the cot or the stretcher.
Patient lift and transfer device
A transfer device has a carriage supported on a base, movable between a home position and an extended position. A table assembly includes a lower table fixed to the carriage and an upper table coupled to the lower table, movable between a downward position in forcible contact with the lower table and an upward position having no contact with the lower table. The table assembly moves toward the extended position with the tables in forcible contact to place the table assembly underneath the object to be transferred while keeping the base stationary. The plates are separated to lift the object on the upper table while the lower table remains resting upon the support surface. The table assembly returns to the home position while supporting the object on the upper table and keeping the upper and lower tables separated. The device may operate in a bidirectional manner.
