Standing and walking support device, system and method of use
A standing and walking support device and system supports and aids a user as the user moves from a sitting position to a standing position. A user is able to grasp and hold a top section of the device as the user stands up. As weight of the user and/or force is placed on the top section, the device compresses under the user's weight and/or force. The device guides the user to shift their center of gravity forward. As the user stands up, the device decompresses to return to its original height. The device and system is then usable as a support as the user walks.
PATIENT POSITIONING DEVICE
A patient positioning device facilitates the placement of a patient in the prone position on the bolsters of a medical table or bed more quickly. The patient positioning device facilitates the surgeon's removal of their arms from underneath the patient once the patient has been properly positioned in the prone position on the medical table or bed (e.g., without shifting the patient out of place). Additionally, the patient positioning device inhibits (e.g., prevents) the surgeon's arms from coming into contact with the patient's skin.
TRANSFER DEVICE
A transfer device comprises a support frame, a seat member, a support member, at least one caster, and a handle member. A care-receiver is configured to be seated on the seat member. The seat member is attached to the support frame and is foldable or extendable. The support member is attached to the support frame. The support member is configured to support an upper body of the care-receiver from front. The at least one caster is provided below the support frame. The handle member is attached to the support member. The handle member is movable in a front-back direction of the support frame and is configured to be grasped by a caregiver during a transfer.
EASY AMBLER
A walker constructed of first and second shaft each having a first and second handle at one end. First and second support braces interconnecting the first and second shafts. The first and second shafts each having an upper section and a lower section wherein the upper sections are housed within the lower sections. First and second support braces mounted to an upper end of the first and second shafts grasp a mounted element to assist the user in standing from a seated position.
Adjustable sling bars for subject lifting systems and methods for operating the same
A sling bar assembly allows variable positioning of a sling on the sling bar assembly. Some sling bar assemblies include opposing sling bar members that are movable with respect to one another in a lateral direction. Some opposing sling bar members are repositionable between a locked position, in which movement of the sling members with respect to one another is restricted, and an unlocked position. Some sling bar assemblies include multiple sling hooks positioned on a sling bar member. Some sling bar assemblies include a biasing member that permits movement of a sling hook with respect to the sling bar assembly in the lateral direction.
Seat support
A seat support device is provided. The seat support is configured to receive a seat cushion and provide support to the cushion as well as providing two support handles above the cushion. The combination of these elements allows an elderly, disabled, or otherwise weakened person to easily rise from a seated to standing position.
Manual lifting sling apparatus
Disclosed is a manual lifting sling apparatus (10) made of fabric, comprising: a bottom support part (12) used for supporting the buttocks and legs of a patient; a rear support part (11) joined to the bottom support part (12) to form an inclined angle and used for supporting the back of the patient; a left blocking part (13) and a right blocking part (14) restraining the patient respectively on the left and right sides, the left blocking part (13) and the right blocking part (14) both concurrently being joined with the bottom support part (12) and the rear support part (11); and at least two lifting handles (15) provided on both the left blocking part (13) and the right blocking part (14). The fabric used for the apparatus is a woven fabric or non-woven fabric, and is made of a non-biodegradable material or biodegradable polymer material. The apparatus has a simple structure, a rational design, a high degree of comfort and is low in cost, and can be a manual lifting sling apparatus deployed specially for each patient for finite use.
SUPPORT FRAME
A support structure device is configured to assist a human patient to rise. The support structure includes a tube bent into a shape described by way of a reference frustum such as a four-sided truncated pyramid. Each side of a top rectangular perimeter of the frustum is shorter than a corresponding side of the bottom rectangular perimeter, and each parallel side of a first trapezoidal perimeter of the frustum is shorter than a corresponding parallel side of a second trapezoidal perimeter. The reference frustum has a height between 10 and 18 inches, the top rectangular perimeter has a length between 10 and 16 inches and a width between 6 and 14 inches, and the bottom rectangular perimeter has a length between 12 and 18 inches and a width between 8 and 16 inches.
Fireman's carry harness
A harness assembly to assist in and secure a fireman's carry of a victim. The harness assembly includes an adjustable strap to be secured around the victim and an adjustable strap to be secured over the shoulder and under the armpit of a carrier. A harness system includes two harness assemblies with one harness assembly being attached around a leg of the victim and one shoulder of the carrier and the other harness assembly being attached around the chest of the victim and the other shoulder of the carrier. The straps are adjustable so that they can be cinched.
