METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR OUTPUTTING TORQUE TO PROVIDE FORCE TO USER
A method, performed by a wearable device, of outputting a torque includes obtaining a first angle of a first joint of a first leg of a user and a second angle of a second joint of a second leg of the user, calculating a first adjustment angle, based on an offset angle set for the first angle and the first joint, determining a first state factor associated with the first angle and the second angle, based on the first adjustment angle and the second angle, determining a first value of a parameter for adjusting at least one of a magnitude, a direction, and timing of a torque to be output, determining a first torque value, based on the first state factor and the first value of the parameter, and controlling a motor driver of the wearable device to output the first torque value.
Stationary automated device for lower limb rehabilitation
Two vertical front posts and two vertical rear posts are mounted on a flat platform of the automated device. The front posts mounted in the horizontal guide are symmetrically moved by the spacing adjustment mechanism within the range between the position of the joined front posts to a dimension between their inner surfaces equal to the width of the wheelchair, and the moved apart position to a dimension where the width dimension of the wheelchair is located between the mechanical legs suspended on the front posts. On the inner surfaces of the front posts, there are vertical guides with a screw drive mechanism for pelvic height adjustment. The mechanical legs girdle the patient's lower limbs from the outside by pelvic control units that induce a symmetrically alternating movement of the hip joint hinges in both mechanical legs with ellipsoid trajectories, and by adjustable thigh and shin connectors and foot connectors.
Leg Actuation Apparatus and Gait Rehabilitation Apparatus
A leg actuation apparatus includes two driven axes, wherein onto each one a distal parallelogram mechanism is attached with one connector being attached in a torque proof manner, wherein the other end of the arm being rotatably connected to an intermediate axis. One proximal parallelogram mechanism is rotatably attached at each intermediate axis and at transfer axes connected to the leg attachment elements to be attached to the upper and lower leg of a user. The distal ends of the lower parallelogram mechanism and the distal ends of the upper parallelogram mechanism can freely glide along the respective first and second driven axis.
Walking support system, walking support method, and walking support program
A walking support system includes: an information output device (260); a motion detector (220) which detects a motion of a user; a foot landing position detector (230) which detect a foot landing position of the user; a determiner (240) which determines a recommended foot landing position which is a landing position of the feet suitable for stabilizing motions of a gait of the user on the basis of motions of a gait of the user detected by the motion detector, the foot landing position detected by the foot landing position detector, and dynamics; and an output controller (250) which outputs information indicating the recommended foot landing position determined by the determiner to the information output device.
Flexible members for anchoring to the body
A flexible anchor member comprising a member for placement about a body part; at least one substantially inextensible textile element circumscribing the member and secured to itself or the member; and a force transfer coupler coupling a portion of the at least one substantially inextensible textile element to an actuator such that the substantially inextensible textile element constricts about the member for a duration of an applied force. Another flexible anchor member comprising an outer member including a substantially inextensible textile material configured for directing a force applied by an actuator to act upon all or a portion of the body part; an inner member for positioning between the body part and the outer member, a first surface of the inner member configured for frictionally engaging the body part or intervening clothing; and at least one coupler for coupling the outer member and the inner member.
Apparatus for stimulating synchronized body motions of a user
An apparatus and method are provided for imparting a repetitive motion to a user. The apparatus may include one or more seat platforms and one or more backrests. Repeated motion of the pelvis and shoulders of the user may be contra lateral. The motions of the user may mimic walking. The apparatus may include a chair. The apparatus may include a sensor. The sensor may be used to control the apparatus and/or the sensor may be used to adjust the movement regime according to the user. The apparatus may help for example, to mobilize limited mobility users and/or to train healthier habits.
Soft Exosuit for Assistance with Human Motion
Systems and methods for providing assistance with human motion, including hip and ankle motion, are disclosed. Sensor feedback is used to determine an appropriate profile for actuating a wearable robotic system to deliver desired joint motion assistance. Variations in user kinetics and kinematics, as well as construction, materials, and fit of the wearable robotic system, are considered in order to provide assistance tailored to the user and current activity.
POWER TRANSMISSION APPARATUS HAVING TWO BELTS
A power transmission apparatus includes a driving joint unit having a first driving gear fixed to a first driving shaft and a second driving gear fixed to a second driving shaft, an operating joint unit fixed on an operating shaft and having an operating gear rotating together with the operating shaft, a first operating belt connected to the first driving gear and the operating gear, a second operating belt connected to the second driving gear and the operating gear to apply a torque in opposite directions, a driving link having one end connected to the first driving shaft or the second driving shaft and the other end connected to the operating shaft, and an operating link fixed to the operating shaft.
Walking training system, non-transitory storage medium storing control program for walking training system and control method for walking training system
A walking training system includes a treadmill configured to prompt a trainee to walk, a display device installed such that the trainee views the display device while walking on the treadmill, a camera configured to image the trainee at an angle of view at which a gait of the trainee is recognizable, a calculation unit configured to calculate a tilt of a body core of the walking trainee based on an image captured by the camera, and a display control unit configured to control the display device to display a body core line associated with the tilt, and an index indicating at least an end of a permissible range of a deflection of the body core line.
State estimation program, trained model, rehabilitation support system, learning apparatus, and state estimation method
A state estimation program is for causing a computer to function to determine a state of training in a rehabilitation support system used by a trainee to perform training of a preset motion and includes a threshold setting step and a state estimation step. The threshold setting step is for acquiring a sensor output, the sensor output being an output of a sensor included in the rehabilitation support system in the training performed by the trainee and setting a threshold for determining one of a normal state and an abnormal state of the training based on the sensor output. The state estimation step is for estimating whether the training is performed in the normal state or the abnormal state based on the threshold.
