Crutch Container
A crutch container includes a container housing having a rear wall opposite a front wall and a pair of lateral sidewalls extending therebetween. The container housing includes an open upper end opposite a closed lower end defining an interior volume. A height of the rear wall is greater than a height of the front wall and the pair of lateral sidewalls defining an upper panel. A strap is affixed to a rear surface of the rear wall along the upper panel, wherein each of a first end and a second end of the strap are removably securable to a front surface of the rear wall along the upper panel. A wedge extends from the rear surface of the rear wall adjacent to the closed lower end, wherein the wedge frictionally engages between a pair of inwardly tapering posts of a crutch.
POWER-ASSIST CONTROL METHOD AND DEVICE FOR INTELLIGENT ROLLATOR, INTELLIGENT ROLLATOR, AND CONTROLLER
A intelligent rollator has a vehicle body, a seat provided in the vehicle body for a person to sit or place items on, and front and rear wheels provided at the bottom of the wheels, driven by motors. A power-assist control method includes the following steps: obtaining the load weight of the vehicle body; and entering a first power-assist compensation mode to compensate the torque output of the motor according to a first power-assist compensation threshold, when the load weight is greater than a set threshold. The first power-assist compensation threshold is direct proportional to at least one of the following parameters: the load weight of the intelligent rollator, and the moving speed of the intelligent rollator. The intelligent rollator can be used safely even under the situations of huge different loads, as with load or not the motor torque output is prevented from being too large to drag the user to fall down, or when the user is seated the motor torque output is prevented from being too small and power is insufficient.
Guiding system
An apparatus including a walker and a guider attached to the walker. The guider has three sides. The first side of the three sides attaches to a front of the walker. The second side of the three sides attaches to a first side of the walker. The third side of the three sides attaches to a second side of the walker.
Wrap around walking aid
A walking aid that assists a user in walking in an upright position. The walking aid may include a rear lower frame structure, a front lower frame structure, a first front wheel coupled to a first front lower frame member, a second front wheel coupled to a second front lower frame member, a first rear wheel coupled to the first rear lower frame member, a second rear wheel coupled to the second rear lower frame member, an upper frame structure comprising a first upper frame member, a second upper frame member, a first forearm support, and a second forearm support, a first pivot and latch mechanism pivotally coupling the first upper frame member and the first rear lower frame member together, and a second pivot and latch mechanism pivotally coupling the second upper frame member and the second rear lower frame member together.
Wheel for a mobility apparatus
An improved wheel for a mobility apparatus designed is disclosed herein. The wheel conforms to obstacles in the ground, creating a smoother walking experience. The inner web of a tire of the wheel preferably consists of polygonal reliefs offset from each other over multiple layers in a radially symmetric pattern to create a web which naturally compresses to absorb shock from obstacles. The tire's inner core preferably consists of a hexagonal membrane that extends parallel to the axel of the tire and extends out of each side of the wheel such that it is visible.
Personal cart and method for using
A personal cart and method for using the personal cart. The personal cart has a platform support frame. Wheels are rotatably connected to the platform support frame. Handles are also attached to the platform support frame. A rectangular platform is rigidly connected to the platform support frame. The platform has a raised railing extending upwards along the outer perimeter of the platform. In a preferred embodiment the platform support frame is foldable. Also, in a preferred embodiment a plurality of tote bags is placed on the platform. Each tote bag laterally supports another tote bag and the plurality of tote bags is also laterally supported by the raised railing.
MOBILE WALKER, MONITORING AND INFORMATION SYSTEM WITH A MOBILE WALKER AND METHOD FOR OPERATING A MOBILE WALKER
A mobile walker has a frame, at least two wheels which are embodied and arranged on the frame to move the mobile walker around on a ground surface, at least one hand grip embodied and arranged on the frame to be used by a user of the mobile walker as a support and pushing aid, at least one measured value recording unit embodied and programmed to record at least one vital parameter of the user, and a processor unit which is connected communicatively to the measured value recording unit and which is embodied and programmed to assess the recorded vital parameter and/or transmit the same to a control center arranged separately from the mobile walker.
Dual receptacle carrier
Disclosed is a dual-receptacle carrier that is generally configured for attachment to a rollator or walker and that is configured to retain either a beverage or a mobile device, such as a cellular telephone. The device comprises a body, a base, and first and second opposing retention arm portions that are configured as a receptacle for a beverage. The first and second opposing retention arm portions and base include recesses that define a receptacle for an electronic device.
WALKING CANE CLAMP AND BASE FOR USE WITH WALKERS AND ROLLATORS
A walking cane clamp is provided which includes a clip dimensioned and configured to releasably secure the walking cane clamp to a support member, the clip being attached to a cane fastener, the cane fastener including a body portion and a biasing member pivotally attached to the body portion, the body portion defining an opening and a receptacle dimensioned and configured to receive a portion of a cane shaft, the biasing member defining an open position and a closed position of the receptacle, the biasing member being pivotally biased toward the closed position in which a portion of the biasing member covers a portion of the opening sufficient to secure the cane shaft within the receptacle. Also provided is a system for securing a walking cane to a walker or a rollator which includes a walking cane clamp as described herein and a base for receiving the walking cane. Also provided is a walker or rollator which includes a walking cane clamp as described herein and an optional base for receiving a walking cane.
MOBILE WALKING AND TRANSPORT AID DEVICE
What is shown and described is a mobile walking and transport aid device (1) for supporting particularly persons with impaired walking ability, with a chassis (2) with wheels (3, 4) and with two outer lateral supports (5, 6), which are fixed to the chassis (2) as supporting elements for a user of the device (1). According to the invention, a provision is made that the lateral supports (5, 6) are attached to the chassis (2) such that they can be swiveled about a horizontal axis from a first, backwardly tilted position for pushing the walking and transport aid device (1) from behind and/or for supporting the user while walking inside and/or behind the walking and transport aid device (1) and/or for the user to sit on the walking and transport aid device (1) into at least one forwardly tilted position for pulling the walking and transport aid device (1) from the front.
