A walker caddy device for carrying items while using a walker and lighting a path in front of a user of the walker includes a caddy defining an interior space and having a support clip coupled to a back wall of the caddy. The support clip is configured to couple to an upper cross member of a walker with the caddy being supported by a lower cross member of the walker. The caddy has a light source coupled to a front wall powered by a power module for selectively lighting an area in front of the walker.

A personal cart and method for using the personal cart. The personal cart has a platform support frame. Wheels are rotatably connected to the platform support frame. Handles are also attached to the platform support frame. A rectangular platform is rigidly connected to the platform support frame. The platform has a raised railing extending upwards along the outer perimeter of the platform. In a preferred embodiment the platform support frame is foldable. Also, in a preferred embodiment a plurality of tote bags is placed on the platform. Each tote bag laterally supports another tote bag and the plurality of tote bags is also laterally supported by the raised railing.

A rolling walker comprises a frame, a seat supported by that frame, and a backrest supported by the frame. By one approach the backrest is configured to selectively move between a first position that provides back support for a person sitting in the seat facing in a forward direction and a second position that provides back support for a person sitting in the seat facing in a rearward direction. If desired, this backrest can be comprised of a material (such as a memory foam material) that biases the backrest towards that first position when the backrest is in the first position and that biases the backrest towards the second position when the backrest is in the second position.

Another example ambulation aid apparatus includes a primary panel formed in monocoque construction to provide support for and assist in mobility of a user through the skin of the monocoque primary panel, the primary panel formed to interrelate with one or more subassemblies to provide an integrated monocoque part to assist in providing support for and improved mobility of the user through the integrated monocoque part. Example methods of manufacture are also disclosed and described.

A tip resistant mobility and stabilization caddy includes an annular grip capable of being grasped by one hand of a patient at any point along its 360° periphery to permit stable transfer of the patient between sitting and standing positions and render the caddy easily manipulated by the patient when walking. A plurality of at least four equiangularly spaced legs extend between an upper table plate and a lower ballast plate, and a plurality of wheels secured at the lower ends of respective legs. A lighting element is actuable manually or automatically in response to motion to illuminate the floor around the caddy.

Systems and methods for a multi-function mobility device to provide cargo container transport are provided. A multi-function mobility device includes a frame configurable between a plurality of configurations. The frame includes a plurality of individually controllable wheeled leg members configured to traverse uneven terrain. The mobility device is configured to transform the frame into a cargo transport configuration that accepts two stacks of cargo bins locked together. The mobility device is also configured to transform the frame into a rideable configuration that accepts a person.

A walking assistance assembly includes a set of first legs forming an X a set of second legs forming an X. A frame is coupled to each of the first and second sets of legs. Moreover, the frame is horizontally oriented when the first and second legs are in an unfolded position thereby facilitating the frame to surround a user.
