The bed also features several cabinets on the base to store pumps, filters, a heater, and to offer storage, and a repositionable panel for privacy. The embryonic-like fluid moisturizes the patient's skin, and maintains a desired body temperature without the worry of the patient developing bed sores. A catheter may also be attached to the patient to automatically remove bodily waste and transfer the same to a waste container for appropriate disposal.
