Compression garment
In an embodiment, a compression garment can include one or more of a flex frame, a shape memory material, a backing, and a control module. In some variations, the flex frame can include a set of support regions, a set of cutout regions, a set of bridges, one or more terminals, and one or more rotation points. In some variations, the compression garment 100 can further include a fabric sleeve, one or more fasteners, a power module, and/or any other suitable component. The compression garment functions as a compression device (e.g., to improve circulation, enhance muscle recovery, etc.), and can additionally or alternatively function as a passive compression device, a heating and/or cooling device, or perform any other suitable functionality.
Percussive therapy device with electrically connected attachment
A percussive therapy system includes a percussive therapy device that includes a housing, an electrical source, a motor positioned in the housing, a switch for activating the motor, a push rod assembly operatively connected to the motor and configured to reciprocate in response to activation of the motor, and an attachment configured to be operatively connected to a distal end of the push rod assembly of the percussive massage device and to provide at least one therapeutic effect to a user. The attachment may include at least one of an actuator configured to provide the at least one therapeutic effect to the user and a sensor configured to obtain at least one of biometric data of the user and information regarding operation of the percussive therapy device.
Dynamic sauna
Systems and methods are provided for controlling infrared radiation (IR) sources of a sauna including tuning IR wavelength-ranges and radiated power-levels of IR sources, and directing IR to locations on a user's body. In one illustrative embodiment, a sauna may be provided having adjustable IR emitters to emit IR at any wavelength resulting in a desirable radiation treatment for the sauna user. In another illustrative embodiment, a method is provided for tuning IR emitters in a sauna.
THERMAL ELECTRONIC MASSAGE NEUROMUSCULAR ROLLER AND VIBRATOR
A multi-layer thermal electronic massage roller with a cylindrical body forming a generally solid body, including an innermost core layer, insulative layer, heating element binder layer, a heating element, a conductive sleeve to pull heat away from the electronic components and direct it to the user, a stiff cylindrical layer, and an outermost fabric layer. The device further includes a battery, a power port and a thermal control module to variably adjust the temperature. A method for configuring the multi-layer thermal electronic massage roller is also provided, including configuration of the elements of the device for optimum performance and disclosure of materials for embodiments of the invention.
Multi-modal thermal therapy for blepharitis, meibomian gland dysfunction and dry eye syndrome
Methods for treating Blepharitis, Meibomian Gland Dysfunction and Dry Eye Syndrome include thermal massage, thermal debridement, and thermal expression. Particular embodiments include use of handheld devices that provide the thermal therapy to tissue by contacting a surface heated with thermal energy to a patient's tissue. Thermal energy can be continuously provided during operation. In particular embodiments, a handheld device comprises a base assembly operatively connected to a removeable thermal energy applicator. A wide range of thermal applicators may be connected to the base assembly to provide different treatments, including heat application, debridement, and expression of the treated tissue or gland.
Therapeutic bra
