Massaging boot
A massaging system including a boot assembly, a sock assembly, a hydrotherapy assembly and a remote assembly is disclosed. The boot assembly includes a boot with a reservoir for water that is filled through a valve and sealed with a valve cap. Within the boot is a cavity to suspend a sock of the sock assembly within. Along the perimeter of the cavity are jet nozzles to spray water from the reservoir to the sock to provide hydrotherapy to a foot of a user received within the sock. Openings are also located about the perimeter of the cavity allowing water to be returned to the reservoir for continued use. The hydrotherapy assembly includes a water pump and a water heater that cooperate with the jet nozzles to control the settings thereof. The user is able to control the jet nozzles with a remote to customize the hydrotherapy received.
Neck and Upper Back Massage Device
A massaging device with linearly adjustable nodes that conform to different bodies and treatment regimens, capable of simultaneously massaging both the neck and upper back of a user. The device requires no effort or force on the part of the user to hold the device in position or to apply pressure.
APPARATUS FOR GIVING AUTOMATED MANIPULATION OF SOFT TISSUE PARTS OF A PERSON'S BODY
An apparatus for giving automated manipulation of soft tissue parts of a person's body. The apparatus includes at least one manipulating device for manipulating the soft tissue parts, and at least one frame on which the manipulating device is mounted. The frame is configured such that the manipulation device is movable in use along the person's body when the person is lying on a treatment table. The manipulation device comprises a plurality of pistons for performing the manipulation of the soft tissue parts.
VIBRATION PRODUCING DEVICE WITH SLEEP CYCLE FUNCTION AND TRANSDUCER
A device is described for delivering a therapeutic vibration to a body. The device may include at least two motors in a housing with unbalanced masses coupled to their axles, such that vibration of the masses causes the two motors and housing to vibrate at a beat frequency 80. The motors and housing may be coupled to the body via a platform which places the motors and housings at or near a resonant structure in the body, creating a coupled oscillation between the platform and the body. The vibration may be based on the input signal, such that the system applies the vibration based on the input signal to the user, wherein the signal may be an audio or video signal. The system may be configured to measure and manipulate the flow of cerebral spinal fluid.
MATTRESS SYSTEM AND METHOD OF MASSAGE
In a first aspect, the invention relates to a mattress system comprising a mattress, a massage module, an electronic control, a wireless communication module and an electrical power supply. In particular, the controller may receive instructions from a mobile application running on a mobile device of a user, and wherein the controller is configured to control the massage module based on a time-varying course of a motor drive signal contained in the instructions. In further aspects, the invention further provides the use of said mattress system, and a method for controlling mattress systems.
Chair-type massage machine and massage machine
A chair-type massage machine includes a seat portion, a backrest portion that is reclinable rearward of the seat portion, and a forearm treatment portion that treats each of forearms of a person to be treated. The forearm treatment portion is mounted to each of both left and right side surfaces of the backrest portion.
Bench assembly for stretching the quadriceps femoris and/or hip flexors muscles
A bench assembly that stretches and develops the quadriceps femoris and/or hip flexors muscle groups of a client with the help of a therapist or trainer. The bench assembly has a basal subassembly with a front member that faces the therapist. Extending rearwardly from the front member is a first side member. A rear member extends laterally from the first side member. Each of the front and rear members have an upwardly oriented column that extends from a bottom rail of the associated member. The columns underlie a client support pad on which the client may lie recumbent and face upwardly with his/her legs positioned towards the front member before a trainer applies a stretching regimen to the legs and/or hips.
Modular bed with vibration motor
A modular bed includes a frame assembly, a plurality of elongated support units, and at least one vibration assembly including a rack, a stretchable web, and a vibration motor. The rack is detachably mounted on two selected adjacent ones of the elongated support units. The stretchable web has a central portion suspended across a lower opening of the rack. After the through bore is stretched to permit insertion of a positioning plate of the vibration motor, resilient retraction of the through bore causes a neck portion of the vibration motor to be trapped in the through bore with a motor body and the positioning plate of the vibration motor to be in abutting engagement with upper and lower surfaces of the stretchable web, respectively.
EXTERNAL COUNTERPULSATION DEVICE
Disclosed herein are systems, methods, and device for performing external counterpulsation. The external counterpulsation device can include a cuff including a body, a first end, and a second end. In some examples, the external counterpulsation device includes a removable tubular connector, a removably attached bladder, and a securing material extending across a length of the body of the cuff. The external counterpulsation device also includes a u-shaped buckle having a first arm, a second arm, and an opening. The first arm is configured to extend through the opening of the first end of the cuff and the second arm is configured to form a roller. The opening of the buckle is formed between the first arm and the second arm and is configured to allow the body of the cuff to extend through the u-shaped buckle.
Methods, apparatuses and systems for applying pressure to a newborn baby
The present disclosure relates to an apparatus for applying pressure to a newborn baby. The apparatus defines a cavity for holding the newborn baby therein, and a plurality of expandable conduits that each substantially surround the cavity, where each conduit is independently expandable: (1) on transfer of fluid from a fluid source into the conduit; (2) on application of an electric potential from an electric potential source to the conduit; or (3) a combination thereof, to apply pressure along at least a portion of the length of the newborn baby held in the cavity. The present disclosure also discusses methods of applying pressure to a newborn baby in a pressure applying apparatus, and systems for applying pressure to a newborn baby.
