An external defibrillator system includes one or more compression sensors; one or more physiological sensors; and at least one processor. The at least one processor is configured to: receive and process chest compression signals and physiological signals from the sensors, determine values for chest compression depth and/or chest compression rate based on the received chest compression signals, determine a trend of at least one physiological parameter over a period comprising multiple chest compressions based on the received physiological signals, adjust a target chest compression depth and/or target chest compression rate based on the determined trend of the at least one physiological parameter, compare the determined values for chest compression depth and/or chest compression rate to the adjusted target compression depth and/or the adjusted target compression rate, and provide feedback about the quality of chest compressions performed on the patient.
Device and method for assisting breathing in a subject
A distension/compression device for assisting breathing in a subject according to one embodiment includes a first tube having a flexible and elastic material that forms a first tube lumen extending from a proximal end to a distal end of the first tube. Longitudinal expansion of the first tube is restricted less than radial expansion of the first tube. A connection element including a first air supply port is in fluid communication with an open proximal end of the first tube lumen and attached to a proximal end of the first tube. A method for assisting breathing of a patient and a method for assisting the clearing of secretions is also included.
Physiological Signal Assisted Acupuncture System and Automatic Electroacupuncture System
A system that assists acupuncture based on the physiological signals of the human body. Physiological signals comprise respiratory signals, electrocardiographic signals, electrical skin signals, electroencephalograph signal, blood flow signals, pulse wave signals and/or signals derived from above signals. The acupuncture treatment process comprises the following: controlling the actuator of the automatic acupuncture device through physiological signals to start, to stop acupuncture treatment or to perform acupuncture techniques such as twisting or lifting-thrusting. It also provides an automatic acupuncture system to assist acupuncture based on Chinese Medicine Body Clock information.
VIBROTACTILE STIMULATION DEVICE
A vibrotactile stimulation device intended to be applied against a body medium (MC) to be stimulated, produced in the form of a functional unit, comprising a vibrating effector suitable for applying, to said medium, pulses of mechanical vibrational energy, and a controller for controlling the effector according to stimulation rules. The functional unit further houses a first electrode suitable for cooperating with at least one second electrode separated from the first electrode in order to supply signals representative of a cardiac activity and a muscular activity on the medium to be stimulated, said controller being sensitive to cardiac activity and muscular activity signals in order to influence the stimulation. The stimulation device may be used for body stimulation in combating sleep apnea, with improved detection.
EXOSKELETON ROBOT FOR EXPECTORATION ASSISTANCE AND CONTROL METHOD
The present disclosure relates to an exoskeleton robot for expectoration assistance and a control method. In the exoskeleton robot, a respiratory sensor acquires a respiratory signal of a user to be assisted; a positive pressure module covers an upper abdomen of the user to be assisted; a negative pressure module is arranged on an outer wall of a thoracic cavity of the user to be assisted and wraps the whole thoracic cavity, and a negative pressure cavity is formed between a housing of the negative pressure module and the outer wall of the thoracic cavity; in an inhalation state, the rigidity of the housing of the negative pressure module increases; in an exhalation state, the rigidity of the housing of the negative pressure module decreases; the control module is respectively connected with the respiratory sensor, the positive pressure module, and the negative pressure module.
Body care apparatus
A body care apparatus capable of providing optimal therapeutic care for a body of a user is provided. The body care apparatus includes a wearable device worn on the body of the user so as to obtain activity data of the user, a massage chair performing a massage on each body part of the user while supporting the body of the user, a data analyzing unit inferring condition data for each body part of the user according to the activity data obtained from the wearable device, and a controller controlling an operation of the massage chair according to the condition data inferred by the data analyzing unit. The body care apparatus may infer the condition data by deep learning of an artificial intelligence algorithm or a sensor fusion.
Ventilation system
A respiration device (1) supports cardio-pulmonary resuscitation (CPR) and a method for operating a respiration device (1) supports cardio-pulmonary resuscitation (CPR). The respiration device (1) has a control and regulation unit (7) in order to actuate an expiratory metering unit (3), and an inspiratory metering unit (2) such that, in a first phase, a current value of pressure is increased relative to a first pre-defined value (16) and such that, in a second phase, the current value of the pressure is reduced relative to the first pre-defined value (16).
SYSTEM FOR MONITORING THE SLEEP AND/OR WELL-BEING OF A PASSENGER OF AN AIRCRAFT AND METHOD FOR IMPLEMENTING SUCH A SYSTEM
A system to manage the sleep and/or the well-being of a passenger/user of an aircraft includes a chair to be installed in a cabin of the aircraft and interaction devices to interact with the user. The system further includes a user terminal configured to receive data relating to characteristics of a user profile of the user, and a control/command module connected to the user terminal, interaction devices and a database storing information relating to characteristics of a flight of the aircraft. User-Customized Delivery of Streamed Multi-Sensory Media to a Vibroacoustic Therapy Bed
A multi-sensory media experience delivery platform includes a vibroacoustic therapy bed that delivers a multi-sensory media experience locally stored, streaming, on-demand, or real-time signals. The vibroacoustic therapy bed drives a plurality of sensory output devices based on a set of sensory output channels to produce sounds, vibrations, light patterns, or other sensory outputs. The channels may be derived from dedicated signals created for a specific sensory output device or may be derived from an audio file or other general set of waveforms. The multi-sensory media experience may be customized to a user based on user profile data, metadata associated with the multi-sensory media experience, or biometric data. Furthermore, users can create customized multi-sensory media experiences from libraries of sounds or other media.
