FOOT SPA TUB PUMP AND METHOD
A foot spa tub includes a tub basin, a first magnetic drive member rotatably coupled to a drive motor, and a first casing supporting the magnetic drive member. The first casing is disposed against an exterior surface of a sidewall of the basin. A second magnetic drive member is rotatably coupled to a blade. The first and second magnetic drive members are magnetically coupled to each other so that the blade is drivingly coupled to the drive motor. A nozzle houses the second magnetic drive member and the blade. The nozzle is detachably securable to an interior surface of the sidewall by a magnetic attraction force between the first and second magnetic drive members. A method of circulating liquid in a foot tub spa is also provided.
MULTIDIRECTIONAL HYDROTHERAPY TUB COPLANAR FLOW
A hydrotherapy tub coplanar flow device includes a body mounted onto an inner surface of the hydrotherapy tub. The body includes at least one set of oppositely faced coplanar flow nozzles allowing coplanar flow to occur in opposite directions from the device. The device includes a hollow internal channel therein extending continually from a first slotted nozzle at one end of the body to a second slotted nozzle at a second end of the body that water from a water supply inlet can flow in both directions within the hollow channel towards both slotted nozzles.
SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR SEALING COMPONENTS IN A SPA SHELL
Disclosed are systems and methods for sealing components in a spa shell. A through-component body, such as a spa jet, extends from the inner side of the spa shell to an outer side of the spa shell. A retaining member includes at least one injection port, and retains the through-component body in place on the outer side of the spa shell. A sealant is injected into the at least one injection port to seal a space between the outer side of the spa shell and the through-component body.
Compensation ring/load washer for spa fittings
A sealing method and corresponding compensation ring, or alternately called a load washer, for use in portable spas or bath tubs that can be installed as part of an assembly when attaching fittings that go through a hole in a spa wall. The method and ring are used to compensate for the uneven surface of spa walls and the necessity that the fitting assembly provides that the fitting chosen sits parallel with the inside of the spa wall regardless of the shape of the surface of the wall, whether it is uniform or not. The fitting fits between a nut and the back/plumbing side of the spa wall with the fitting of choice and securing gasket being inserted into the assembly on the front/aesthetic/water side of the spa wall.
BATHING APPARATUS FOR THERMOTHERAPY
A bathing device for thermotherapy includes, attached to a bathtub, a magnetized hot water production device through which hot water is passed so as to be magnetized and an aeration device that aerates said magnetized hot water.
System for jet hydrotherapy
A system for jet hydrotherapy configured to produce a fluid jet from an aerated fluid flow at sufficiently high velocities/pressures for massage or therapeutic treatment, which is accomplished by an internal geometry that places, at least, fluid and gas orifices, vessels and nozzles in the optimum location and configuration to create high fluid flow velocities throughout the system. The system also is configured to produce a fluid jet with sufficiently high gas content such that a user experiences less discomfort and/or pain when the fluid jet is applied to sensitive tissue areas. The system also is configured to provide a tactile interface upon which a system user can mechanically engage to supplement the jet hydrotherapy.
MULTI-STAGE FLUIDIC OSCILLATOR WITH VARIABLE FREQUENCY ASSEMBLY AND METHOD
A multi-stage fluidic oscillating circuit and system can produce an output spray of selectively varying frequency, even though the fluid supplied to the circuit/system is maintained at a substantially constant pressure. The circuit is characterized by two successive stages, each having a power nozzle aligned around a central axis. Upstream and downstream inertance loops are included in each of the stages, with fluid from one of these loops being selectively released to affect the frequency change in the output spray. The circuit is also characterized by a splitter and optional dog ear style protrusions formed in the outlet of the circuit.
Whirlpool Spa Motor Pump of Whirlpool Massage Bathtub
The present invention relates to a whirlpool bathtub, in which the mounting structure of a whirlpool spa motor pump is improved such that the attachment and detachment of the whirlpool spa motor pump can be conveniently carried out inside the bathtub. To this end, the present invention includes a lower housing having an upper flange and a lower flange, an impeller for rotating by a motor, which is provided to the lower housing, so as to generate suction force, an upper housing coupled to an upper portion of the lower housing by a coupling means and having a suction holes and a discharge holes, two or more slider rails vertically provided on the outside of the lower housing, a mounting bolt provided to the upper and lower flanges, so as to be positioned at one side of the slider rail, a slider fitted with the mounting bolt, and a slider holder inserted into the slider so as to be screw-coupled with the mounting bolt.
Whirlpool bathtub and purging system
A whirlpool bathtub system includes a basin having a plurality of nozzles, a water feed line connected to the plurality of nozzles, an air feed line connected to the plurality of nozzles, a pump configured to circulate water to the basin through the water feed line, and a blower having an off condition and an on condition, the blower being configured to provide air to the basin through the air feed line. When the blower is in the off condition, the blower is configured to allow air to flow into the air feed line. When the blower is in the on condition, the blower is configured to increase the flow of air flowing into the air feed line.
