The adapter comprises a first end (652) for receiving the first device, wherein the first end includes a side wall for locating around the first device (100). The adapter (650) further comprises a second end (654) for engaging the first device (100), and including a retaining member (656; 658; 662), wherein the retaining member (656; 658; 662) is operable to prevent removal of the first device (100) from the adapter (650) upon engagement of the first device (100) with the second end (654). The first end (652) and the second end (654) are open on both ends to comprise a through-bore extending through the adapter (650). In some cases, the first device (100) may be a drug pen containing insulin.
VIAL ADAPTER FOR DRAWING DRUGS FROM A VIAL
A vial adapter for reconstituting a drug and drawing a drug from a vial. The vial adapter includes a passageway for passage of a diluent into the vial to mix with and reconstitute the drug and a chamber containing the reconstituted drug drawn from the vial. A vacuum is applied through the adapter to draw the reconstituted drug from the vial. The reconstituted drug can be accessed in one or two ways, either via a luer locked syringe or via a needled syringe.
System with adapter for closed transfer of fluids
A vial access device includes an outer housing defining an annular space and an inner space, an inner housing, and a connector configured to engage a mating connector with the connector having a body defining a central passageway and a flange that extends radially outward from the body. The flange and the housing defining a filter space that is in fluid communication with the annular space. A pressure equalization system is positioned within the annular space of the outer housing. The device also includes a vial connection element configured to be secured to a vial and having a body and a spike member extending from the body. The spike member defining a fluid passageway and a vent passageway with the fluid passageway in fluid communication with the central passageway of the connector and the vent passageway in fluid communication with the filter space and the annular space.
Device for Filling Blood Products
Device (1) for filling blood products (12) into at least two administration containers (2), comprising at least one receptacle (3) for dispensing the blood product (12) into the device (1), a channel system (4, 7, 8, 17) connected to carry fluid to the administration containers (2), and an air exhaust assembly (10, 11, 15), where the device (1) further comprises a plate-shaped component (6) in which the channels (7, 8, 17) of the channel system run, through which the administration containers (2) can be filled in parallel with equal volumes of the blood product (12).
Devices for transferring fluid to or from a vial
In certain embodiments, a vial adaptor for removing liquid contents from a vial comprises a piercing member and a bag. The bag can be contained within the piercing member such that the bag is introduced to the vial when the vial adaptor is coupled with the vial. In some embodiments, the bag expands within the vial as liquid is removed from the vial via the adaptor, thereby regulating pressure within the vial. In other embodiments, a vial comprises a bag for regulating pressure within the vial as liquid is removed therefrom. In some embodiments, a vial adaptor is coupled with the vial in order to remove the liquid. In some embodiments, as the liquid is removed from the vial via the adaptor, the bag expands within the vial, and in other embodiments, the bag contracts within the vial.

In order to remove the liquid. In some embodiments, as the liquid is removed from the vial via the adaptor, the bag expands within the vial, and in other embodiments, the bag contracts within the vial.
Filtering injection needle assembly for syringe
The present invention relates to a filtering injection needle assembly for a syringe, and more particularly, to an apparatus for further facilitating suction of an injection liquid. The filtering injection needle assembly includes an injection needle (100) including a needle (110) and a hub (120); and a cap (200) configured to receive the needle (110) and including a filter (210), wherein the hub (200) is formed with a through-hole (121) for communication between an inside and an outside of the hub, and opening/closing of the through-hole (121) is controlled by a one-way valve means (300). The filtering injection needle assembly blocks foreign substances introduced into the syringe, thereby enhancing safety, and wherein the filtering injection needle assembly has various types of one-way valve means provided in the hub of the injection needle to further facilitate the suction of the injection liquid.
PRESSURE-REGULATING VIAL ACCESS DEVICES AND METHODS
In certain embodiments, a vial access device for removing liquid contents from a vial includes a piercing member extending from a base of an insertion member and a reservoir. The reservoir can be contained within the piercing member and the insertion member, such that the reservoir is introduced to the vial when piercing member is inserted into the vial. The piercing member is adapted to be opened inside the vial to expose the reservoir to the contents inside the vial. A locking mechanism can prevent the piercing member from being inserted into the vial unless the vial access device is fully coupled to the vial and/or prevent the piercing member from being withdrawn from the vial without uncoupling the vial access device from the vial.
BLOOD SEPARATION METHOD AND BLOOD SEPARATION FILTER
A blood separation method using a blood separation filter (10A) includes: an arrangement step of arranging a housing (18) such that a blood inflow chamber (20) is positioned below a filter member (24) and the blood outflow chamber (22) is positioned above a filter medium (38); a blood treatment step of allowing blood to flow in the filter medium (38) upward from vertically below; and a post residual treatment blood collection step of arranging the housing (18) such that an outflow port (28) is positioned vertically below the blood outflow chamber (22) so as to guide the post-separation residual blood in the housing (18) to the outflow port (28).
