SMART TEETHING APPARATUS
A teething apparatus includes a water-resistant housing containing a controller and a power source and communication means and a plurality of sensors in communication with the surface of the housing arranged and configured to detect at least pH and at least one volatile organic compound. Each of the plurality of sensors is in data communication with the controller and the controller is capable of communication with an external device via communication means. The apparatus may be a component of a larger system and may be used in a method including the steps of providing a teething apparatus to an oral cavity of an infant, establishing a data connection between the teething apparatus and a remote device, and relaying information from the teething apparatus to the remote device, the information comprising the qualitative measurement of one or more volatile organic compounds and the quantitative value of pH in the oral cavity.
Smart pacifier that performs functions by wireless connection to a computing device and application
A smart pacifier that performs various functions via smart device connection and application is disclosed. In all of its iterations, there is the ability to put the parent in Bluetooth or other iteration of wireless connection with the pacifier so that each of the features of the pacifier can be accessed through a smart device application, permitting each of them to be operated while the parent is out of sight of the child, and for the pacifier to shut down remotely based on direct sensory interaction with the child.
PACIFIER
Suggested is a pacifier, comprising a mouthpiece and a shield further including a vibration-generating device.
Optical engine for three-dimensional printing
A spatial light modulator outputs modulated light including: modulated first light when the spatial light modulator receives first light; and modulated second light when the spatial light modulator receives second light. Projection optics project the modulated light onto: a first pixel region when a component or the spatial light modulator has a first position; and a second pixel region when the component or the spatial light modulator has a second position. The first and second pixel regions partially overlap. A pixel shifter moves the component or the spatial light modulator between: the first position when the spatial light modulator outputs the modulated first light; and the second position when the spatial light modulator outputs the modulated second light.
PACIFIER WITH FLUID PASSAGEWAY AND EXCHANGEABLE HOUSING
A pacifier comprising a reusable suction part and at least one exchangeable housing part which are releasably connectable to each other, wherein said suction part comprises a nipple and a shield connected to each other, wherein said suction part comprises a passageway through which a fluid can pass from outside a mouth of a user of the pacifier to inside the mouth of the user of the pacifier, and wherein said suction part comprises at least one first connection device, and wherein said housing part comprises a housing and at least one second connection device which is releasably connectable to the at least one first connection device, wherein said housing comprises at least one heat and moisture exchanger (HME) device and/or at least one filter device.
Bluetooth Pacifier
The present invention relates to a Bluetooth pacifier for infants, toddlers, and children. More specifically, the Bluetooth pacifier includes a nipple, a collar and a handle. The Bluetooth pacifier includes an integrated Bluetooth microchip and a micro-USB charging port in the collar. The Bluetooth microchip periodically transmits Bluetooth Low Energy signals (BLE) to a paired electronic device. A software application installed in the electronic device processes the received BLE signals and associated RSSI values of the BLE signals for location tracking of the pacifier. When the pacifier and the electronic device are not in BLE range, the software application stores the last recorded (i.e. past-time) location of the pacifier. The micro-USB charger can be used for attaching a USB charger.
Pacifier
Suggested is a pacifier, comprising a mouthpiece and a shield further including a vibration-generating device.
Intelligent pacifier
An intelligent pacifier estimates its state based on one or more sensors. Based on the estimated state, the pacifier may provide an alert or notification to a child or caretaker regarding the state of the child. The alert or notification may be generated by one or more output transducers and may increase in level depending on the estimated state. An application program communicates with the intelligent pacifier, allowing the caretaker to review and analyze the data collected by the intelligent pacifier, and to configure the intelligent pacifier. Embodiments of the intelligent pacifier may vary in the number and type of sensors, the number and type of estimated states, and the number and type of output transducers. The intelligent pacifier may be constructed as a single device or may consist of a housing that interfaces to a typical pacifier.
CRAVING BABIES INTELLIGENT PACIFIER
An improved pacifier comprising interchangeable dissolving flavor packets that provide a tasty incentive for babies to use whereby a developing infant determines flavor differences thereby providing flavor variance for a child to recognize, stimulates brain function and encourages further cognitive growth.
