The present disclosure is directed to embodiments of a kiosk including a chassis having a patient compartment and a medication compartment. A patient does not have access to the medication compartment in the patient compartment. A dispense structure extends from the patient compartment to the medication compartment such that a dosage of medication may be dispensed to the patient when within the patient compartment. After the medication is dispensed to the patient, a medical professional observes the patient ingest the medication through a video conference display within the patient compartment. A biometric scanner may be in electrical communication with a lock in mechanical cooperation with a door hingedly coupled to the chassis to limit access to the medication compartment. An insulated safe with an internal chamber wherein the internal chamber's temperature is regulated. A medication is stored within the internal chamber of the insulated safe at a selected temperature by regulating the temperature within the internal chamber of the insulated safe.

A method of producing a tablet in which an uncoated tablet is coated by a coating agent, the method including: a coating process of coating uncoated tablets with a coating agent by spray coating the coating agent onto tablets that are churned and tumbled inside a container, and drying the tablets inside the container by supplying drying air into the container and exhausting air from the container, wherein spray coating conditions, including air supply temperature, air supply rate, and spray speed, are controlled according to the weight of the coating agent with which the uncoated tablets are coated, such that the humidity of air exhausted during spray coating is within a range of from 14% RH to 30% RH.

A pacifier comprising a reusable suction part and at least one exchangeable housing part which are releasably connectable to each other, wherein said suction part comprises a nipple and a shield connected to each other, wherein said suction part comprises a passageway through which a fluid can pass from outside a mouth of a user of the pacifier to inside the mouth of the user of the pacifier, and wherein said suction part comprises at least one first connection device, and wherein said housing part comprises a housing and at least one second connection device which is releasably connectable to the at least one first connection device, wherein said housing comprises at least one heat and moisture exchanger (HME) device and/or at least one filter device.

A medication dispensing and monitoring system of the present invention includes a housing containing an interior for storing and dispensing medication to an authorized patient at a desired time. The invention is programmed to dispense medication at the desired time and activates alarms if the proper procedure is not completed and/or if other undesirable events occur. The invention includes a secondary dispenser as a failsafe to ensure that the patient can obtain a dose of the contained medication in the event of a device malfunction or patient error.

A production line is, suitable for the production of medicinal products that include at least one active ingredient. The production line includes an extruder for producing an extrudate from the active ingredient and at least one excipient intended to form an encapsulating matrix of the active ingredient, and a cooling member for cooling the extrudate at the outlet of the extruder. The extruder includes a barrel and at least two parallel screws housed in the barrel and interpenetrating with one another to mix the or each active ingredient with the or each excipient. The barrel is oriented vertically and the footprint occupied by the production line is less than 0.5 m.sup.2.

A carrier for supporting containers such as syringes or cartridges in a lyophilization chamber during lyophilization of substances contained therein, comprises a base assembly with an array of holes for receiving the containers. Each hole includes a heat-conductive metal portion for engagement with lower parts of the container held therein and a relatively non-conductive polymeric portion surrounding a portion of the container above the lower portion for enhancing the vertical growth of relatively large ice crystals. An upper part of the carrier supported above the base assembly includes a plunger-holding plate for frictionally holding elastomeric plungers and a pusher plate movable toward the plunger-holding plate and having protrusions for pushing the plungers out of the plunger-holding plate and into the containers before the containers are removed from the chamber.

A medicinal oil delivery device includes a liquid medicinal oil storage reservoir that stores liquid medicinal oil; a heating element that converts the liquid medicinal oil into vaporous medicinal oil; a delivery device that delivers the liquid medicinal oil to the heating element; and a mouthpiece through which a user can receive the vaporous medicinal oil. The medicinal oil delivery device may include a body that includes the heating element and a removable cartridge engageable to the device that includes the liquid medicinal oil reservoir and mouthpiece.

The present invention provides a transport container comprising; a first container having a first inner wall with a storage space for storing a transported object and a first outer wall provided on the outside of the first inner wall so as to form, with the first inner wall, a vacuum space therebetween; a first lid that is heat-insulating and is for removably sealing a first opening of the first container; a second container having a second inner wall with a space for storing the first container and the first lid and a second outer wall provided on the outside of the second inner wall so as to form, with the second inner wall, a vacuum space therebetween; a second lid that is heat-insulating and is for removably sealing a second opening of the second container; and a heat storage material for surrounding the transported object inside the storage space.
