Vessel for a fluid having a silicone continuity
A vessel intended to contain a fluid including a container delimiting an inner volume made of a flexible material and topped with a tubular sleeve whose proximal end delimits a housing. The sleeve includes an upper shoulder projecting radially outwards of the sleeve. The vessel also comprises a removable closure device made of a flexible material including a lower shoulder adapted to interact with the upper shoulder of the sleeve so that tightness is ensured when the lower shoulder and the upper shoulder are compressed against one another. The vessel also includes a coupling system enabling holding and mutual compression of the lower shoulder of the removable closure device and of the upper shoulder of the sleeve.
Device for blood loss measurement following childbirth to detect postpartum hemorrhage
A device for detecting postpartum hemorrhage is provided. A mat defines a proximal end and a distal end. The mat is configured to be disposed between a support and a patient and has a surface with a fluid flow region configured to direct flow of bodily fluids from the patient towards the distal end of the mat. A first detachable and optionally sealable bag is configured to receive the bodily fluids from the patient in a first operational mode of the device. A second sealable bag is configured to receive the bodily fluids from the patient in a second operational mode of the device. The second sealable bag comprises a visual volume indicator to measure the bodily fluids collected in the second sealable bag.
MEDICINE DISPENSING SYSTEM HAVING STAIR-STEP DOSING INDICATORS
A medicine dispensing device, configured to contain a liquid medicine to be dispensed by the medicine dispensing device and having a plurality of dosing indicia spaced apart from each other around and in relation to a circumference of a surface of the medicine dispensing device, each dosing indicia being of a different height relative to a reference level and corresponding to different dose of the liquid medicine.
Devices for accessing medicinal fluid from a container
In certain embodiments, a vial adaptor for removing liquid contents from a vial comprises a piercing member and a bag. The bag can be contained within the piercing member such that the bag is introduced to the vial when the vial adaptor is coupled with the vial. In some embodiments, the bag expands within the vial as liquid is removed from the vial via the adaptor, thereby regulating pressure within the vial. In other embodiments, a vial comprises a bag for regulating pressure within the vial as liquid is removed therefrom. In some embodiments, a vial adaptor is coupled with the vial in order to remove the liquid. In some embodiments, as the liquid is removed from the vial via the adaptor, the bag expands within the vial, and in other embodiments, the bag contracts within the vial.
Prefilled Medicated Pacifier
The present invention relates to an improved pacifier to provide a pre-measured medication or supplement to an infant without requiring teaspoons, medical cups, and more. The improved pacifier features a substantially transparent nipple which is prefilled, or selectively filled, with a liquid medication or supplement that allows an infant to suck the nipple to dispense the medication or supplement in their mouth. The nipple is releasably attached to a shield device through a central opening of the shield. The shield also inhibits the pacifier from falling out of the mouth and dropping on the ground. The nipples are color coded in different colors for indicating different medications. Pre-measured dosage marks are indicated on the nipple for indicating the quantity of the medication stored in the nipple.
System for aseptic collection and enteral delivery
A container for collecting, storing and dispensing fluid, as in enteral feeding and/or medication deliver to neonatal infants. The container includes a hollow tube with a body, a first end, a second end, and an outer diameter. The hollow tube is configured to receive a movable plunger that advances and retracts therein to define a variable contained volume. The container also includes a sealing head assembly removably mounted at an end of the hollow tube. The sealing head assembly has a diameter or outside dimension that is substantially similar or identical to a corresponding outside diameter or dimension of the hollow tube, so that the container lies flat within the receiver of an enteral feeding pump.
Vial With Metered Dispenser
A polymer vial with a tubular body having a geometric shape including (i) a neck having an opening orifice, and (ii) a closed base formed by flattening and sealing a bottom edge of the tubular body. The vial will also include a snap off cap integrally formed on the neck and a liquid content contained in the tubular body. A plurality of dosage lines are printed on the tubular body, the dosage lines having a non-uniform spacing corresponding to the variable volume per unit length of the vial geometric shape. Each line corresponds to a dosage volume of the liquid content when the opening orifice is oriented in the vertically upward position.
Integrated container and dosing device for liquid medication delivery
A medication delivery apparatus including a container and a paired delivery device removably attached to the container, wherein a fluid passageway between the container and the delivery device permits fluid medication to be transferred from the container to the delivery device to then be dispensed from the delivery device. The delivery device is rotatable between first and second operative positions with respect to the container, the first operative position for filling the delivery device with a predetermined dosage of a liquid medication and the second operative position for dispensing the predetermined dosage from the delivery device. The first and second operative positions of the delivery device may correspond with respective inverted and upright positions of the container.
Emesis containment system
An emesis containment system is configured to attach to the face of a wearer in order to contain emesis ejected from the wearer's mouth and/or nose without necessitating the wearer, or any other party, to use their hands to hold, guide, or otherwise interact with the system during use. The emesis containment system comprises a rigid or semi-rigid mask configured to attach to the user's face and a flexible bag attached to the mask. The system including the mask and flexible bag move with the wearer's head, and emesis ejected from the wearer's mouth and/or nose is directed into the flexible bag.
