Adjustable bottle holder and use thereof
A bottle holder, which is secured on a supporting surface, comprises a receiving base and a telescoping shaft inserted into the receiving base. A portion of the shaft is elastic, such that it can be flexed (bent and/or twisted) to a comfortable close position of the bottle, held by the bottled holder, to the user who will be consuming the bottle's contents, without the aid or assistance of another individual. When the user finishes drinking from the bottle and releases the bottle, the shaft springs (snaps) back to its initial, unbiased position, where the supported bottle is angled upwards in such a way that any contents left in the bottle will not spill.
RETAINER
A retainer (1) for releasably retaining an item, such as a bottle, is described. The retainer comprises a housing (19); and a latch. The latch is configurable between: i) an unlocked state for insertion of the item into, or removal of the item from, the housing, in which the latch is movable between an open position and a closed position; and ii) a locked state for retaining the item in the housing, in which the latch is maintained in the closed position. Configuration between the locked state and the unlocked state is effected by a change in orientation of the retainer.
SYSTEM AND DEVICE FOR SUPPORTING A FOOD DISPENSER AND USES THEREOF
The present invention is related to a device for supporting a food dispenser. The device includes a strap. The strap includes a first end and a second end opposite to the first end. The strap further includes a plurality of openings disposed between the first end and the second end. The strap also includes a plurality of markings corresponding to the plurality of openings. Each of the plurality of markings is indicative of a distance of the corresponding opening from the first end or the second end. The device also includes a retaining member detachably secured within one of the plurality of openings. The retaining member is configured to secure the food dispenser to the strap.
Handsfree Bottle Support Harness
A handsfree bottle support harness for supporting a bottle. The handsfree bottle support harness includes a base having a first end and second end, a top surface and bottom surface, wherein the top surface contains a channel tapering from the first end to the second end. The channel is configured to hold the mouth of a bottle facing the second end of the base. The bottle is held in place by a strap having a first end connected to the first end of the base and a second end removably secured to the second end of the base. The base contains a belt within a compartment therein having a pair of distal ends configured to removably secure to one another. In another embodiment, an attachable component is removably securable to the base to allow for the height adjustment of the bottle position.
Patient enteral hydration with cooled fluids
A device and method for enterally hydrating a patient with cooled fluids. The patient may be a paralyzed or limited upper body mobility patient with a functional gastrointestinal system who is nonetheless incapable or not fully capable of drinking unassisted. Here fluids are provided by a suspended container which also has a pouch to admit cooling material such as ice, but to keep the cooling material separate from the fluid. The container may also have optional graduation markings to allow for convenient estimation of fluid use, and an upper open and closeable cap to allow the container to be refilled. The container has a lower fluid conducting tube that terminates in a mouthpiece. The mouthpiece contains a fluid valve formed from at least one slit in an elastic material. Patient mouth force on the valve causes the slit to enlarge, thus enabling cooled fluid to flow into the patient.
BABY BOTTLE STAND AND TEETHER TOY APPARATUS
Apparatus to secure a beverage container in an upright position and provide a surface for teething. The apparatus includes a body, a plurality of feet, and a head. The body includes an interior circumference. A wall of the body along the interior circumference defines an aperture through the body. The aperture is configured to receive and secure a base of the beverage container with the beverage container in an upright position. Each foot of the plurality of feet is connected to the body. The head is connected to the body.
BABY BOTTLE RETAINING SLEEVE
A retaining device configured for securing a bottle. The retaining device includes a receptacle that is configured to receive a bottle. The receptacle includes a cylindrical wall portion that is configured to secure the bottle. The cylindrical wall portion further includes a six-leaf mouth opening that expands to accommodate different size bottles and provides a snug grip to bottles. The retaining device further includes a base and configured to create a wide suction base, that is extended out from the bottom portion of the cylindrical portion.
Tether
A tether for connecting two different objects together has first and second elongate and flexible end portions having proximal and distal ends, and an elongate and flexible intermediate portion. The intermediate portion is releasably connectable with the first and second end portions, by the intermediate portion having connectors at either end and the first and second end portions having connectors at respective proximal ends to form first and second safety breakaways. The connections of the first and second safety breakaways, are made in-line with the general lengthwise axis of the tether. The first and second end portions are arranged for connection to a respective object. The safety breakaways between the intermediate portion and the first and second end portions are releasable at a predetermined release load.
ADJUSTABLE BOTTLE HOLDER AND USE THEREOF
