POLY(ETHYLENE GLYCOL) METHACRYLATE MICROGELS, PREPARATION METHOD AND USES
The invention relates to poly(oligo(ethylene glycol) methacrylate) microgels, to the process for preparing same and the uses thereof in various fields of application such as optics, electronics, pharmacy and cosmetics.
These microgels have the advantage of being monodisperse, pH-responsive and temperature-responsive. They can carry magnetic nanoparticles or biologically active molecules. These microgels may also form transparent films, which have novel optical and electromechanical properties.
POROUS SILICATE/MAGNETIC FERRITE NANOCARRIER FOR COMBINATION ANTI-CANCER THERAPEUTIC AND ANTIOXIDANT DELIVERY
A nanomedicinal composition comprising a nanocarrier and a pharmaceutical agent mixture comprising an anti-cancer therapeutic and an antioxidant. The nanocarrier comprises a porous silicate matrix and particles of a magnetic ferrite disposed in the pores of the porous silicate matrix. The pharmaceutical agent mixture is disposed in the pores and/or on the surface of the nanocarrier by a solution phase impregnation process. The nanomedicinal composition is used in a method of treating breast cancer.
Magnetic-Responsive Photosensitizer Nanoplatform and Uses Thereof
Provided herein are magnetically-responsive, photosensitizer based antimicrobial microemulsions and photodynamic nanoplatforms in which a photosensitizer functionally associated with a plurality of superparamagnetic iron oxide nanoparticles are encapsulated. Also provided are methods and processes utilizing the antimicrobial microemulsions and photodynamic nanoplatforms to treat an oral disease, to reduce a microbial population in a pathogenic oral biofilm and to improve the efficacy of a photosensitizer during an antimicrobial photodynamic therapy treatment of an oral disease.
Liquid cosmetic
Compositions and methods of this disclosure include liquid cosmetic compositions, for example, an eyeliner, that is applied to the surface of a user (e.g., a person), the surface including, for example, an eyelid, the liquid cosmetic product including a ferromagnetic component that is capable of being attracted by and attached to a magnet, the magnet part of a false eyelash.
MAGNETIC ARTIFICIAL FINGERNAIL EXTENSIONS
Disclosed herein is an artificial fingernail that magnetically affixes to the fingers of a user. The user first applies a clear magnetic nail polish to their fingers. When dry, the artificial fingernail, manufactured including magnetic polymers, affixes directly to the magnetic nail polish coating. In various embodiments, the magnetic polymers used in the artificial fingernail are configured to various contexts and preferences.
LASER ENHANCER COMPOSITION FOR IMPROVING MELASMA, WRINKLES, SKIN TIGHTENING, PORES, AND ACNE
Proposed is a laser enhancer composition for improving melasma, wrinkles, skin tightening, pores, and acne by removing dead skin cells on an epidermal layer of the skin. The laser enhancer composition is used in a form applied to the epidermal layer during the treatment. The laser enhancer composition includes: either one or both of a peeling material and a heat conducting material that are configured not to be vaporized by a laser so that fumes are not generated; a viscous material configured to mix the peeling material 11a and the heat conducting material due to viscosity thereof; a volatile alcohol; and purified distilled water.
MASCARA COMPOSITION AND METHOD OF USE
A method for improving the curl of eyelashes is provided. A composition is applied to eyelashes, and a magnetic element is then moved above the eyelash in the direction of desired curl. The disclosed composition, which may also be provided separately or in a kit along with a magnetic element for use with the disclosed method, requires three components: (i) one or more iron oxides in a total amount of at least 20% by weight, (ii) one or more latex polymers present in a total amount of at least 6% by weight; and (iii) one or more waxes having a melting point T.sub.m≥80° C.

Magnetic Lash Band System
A false eyelash band is disclosed, including a substrate strip having a first surface and an opposing second surface. The substrate strip formed by consolidating a plurality of fibers, each of the plurality of fibers impregnated with magnetic element particles from a magnetic coating composition. The first surface configured to secure a plurality of artificial hairs along the length of the substrate strip, and the second surface comprising at least a magnetic coating layer comprising a magnetic substance and configured to be attached to a user.
TOPICAL INSTANT SMOOTHING AND COLORING COMPOSITIONS FOR THE SKIN
The present invention is directed to topical compositions for smoothing and coloring facial skin, and processes for making and using said compositions.
