This invention relates to a method of selecting a collection of frame-shift peptides (CFSPs) to produce a universal cancer vaccine peptide collection (CVP) for prophylaxis and treatment of patients with hereditary and sporadic micro-satellite instability (MSI) tumors. This invention relates as well to a method of producing a CVP by selecting a subset of frame-shift peptides (FSPs) from the CFSP and optionally modifying the FSP's amino acid (aa) sequence to generate modified FSPs (mFSPs). The invention further relates to nucleic acid collections encoding a CVP of FSPs and/or mFSPs in one or more vaccine vectors that can be used also simultaneously. These CVPs, nucleic acids and vectors are used for the prophylaxis or treatment of MSI cancers.

Long-acting adrenomedullin derivative conjugated with Fc region of immunoglobulin
The invention provides a novel adrenomedullin derivative sustainable for a long period which is capable of substantially suppressing unwanted side effects while maintaining pharmacological effects of adrenomedullin. An aspect of the invention relates to a compound represented by formula (I): [wherein A is an Fc region of an immunoglobulin, B is a peptide moiety derived from adrenomedullin or a modified form thereof with adrenomedullin activity, and L is a linking group comprising a peptide having any given amino acid sequence] or a salt thereof, or a hydrate thereof. This disclosure provides peptides that bind to LAG3 and can be used to block its interaction with other molecules such as MHC-II, FGL1, and α-synuclein. These peptides, with their demonstrated activity and short half-life, can be used to activate cellular immunity while significantly reducing the potential for adverse events that is often associated with the antibody-based checkpoint inhibitors. The peptides can be used as stand-alone therapeutics or can be used as immune modulators in combination with other therapies.

Peptide inhibitors of insulin-degrading enzyme
The present disclosure describes novel peptides, including peptides that inhibit the proteolytic activity of insulin-de-grading enzyme (IDE). Also described are cosmetic and pharmaceutical formulations including these peptides, as well as a treatment method aimed at improving the appearance and/or texture of skin and/or promoting wound healing and a method for treating diabetes. The disclosed peptides and formulations are particularly useful for addressing the problem of impaired wound healing in diabetes.
Peptide inhibitors of insulin-degrading enzyme
The present disclosure describes novel peptides, including peptides that inhibit the proteolytic activity of insulin-de-grading enzyme (IDE). Also described are cosmetic and pharmaceutical formulations including these peptides, as well as a treatment method aimed at improving the appearance and/or texture of skin and/or promoting wound healing and a method for treating diabetes. The disclosed peptides and formulations are particularly useful for addressing the problem of impaired wound healing in diabetes.
