The present invention relates to the field of cancer therapy. In particular, the present invention relates to a method of preventing, treating or inhibiting the development of tumours and/or metastases in a subject by administering one or more immunomodulators into the skin via a microneedle device.

The present invention provides compositions and methods for treating cancer or a metastasis thereof in a subject. In some embodiments, the methods involve administering a composition comprising therapeutically effective amount of at least one immune stimulator to the subject. In some embodiments, a combination of at least two immune stimulators is used for the treatment. In some embodiments, the combination includes an alpha thymosin peptide and an additional immune stimulator, and/or optionally one or more additional anti-cancer agents.

In particular the present invention provides a pharmaceutical composition comprising an alpha melanocyte stimulating hormone (alpha-MSH) analogue either alone, in combination with narrow band UVB and/or in combination with one or more corticosteroids, immunosuppressants, anti-inflammatory agents and/or photochemotherapeutic agents for the treatment or prevention of vitiligo.
