COMPOSITION FOR REGENERATING GROWTH PLATE
The present invention provides a composition comprising fetal cartilage tissue-derived cells and a fetal cartilage tissue-derived extracellular matrix as active ingredients for regenerating a growth plate. The composition for regenerating a growth plate can inhibit bone bridge formation in a growth plate injury region without a scaffold and differentiate to a growth plate cartilage tissue to effectively fill and regenerate the injured region therewith, whereby the regenerated growth plate tissue can recover growth ability. In addition, the composition is compatible with and safe to biological tissues and is characterized by high reproducibility and homogeneity.

EXTENDED RELEASE PLASTIC FORMULATION
A plastic material for extended release of a bio-active agent, the plastic material comprising a structural polymer, at least one bio-active ingredient embedded within the structural polymer as solid islands, a liquid binding material embedded within the structural polymer as granules, and a carrier liquid absorbed within the liquid-absorbent material. The carrier liquid may be sufficiently non-compatible with the structural polymer so that at least a portion of the carrier liquid is released from the liquid-absorbent material through the structural polymer to an outer surface of the plastic material over a period of time, such as a week or more, a month or more, or about three months. The bio-active agent comprised in the at least one bio-active ingredient may be sufficiently soluble in the carrier liquid at room or body temperature so that the carrier liquid released to the outer surface comprises the bio-active agent in solution.

Methods of administering a composition comprising a Tn3 scaffold and a CD40L-specific monomer
The present invention provides Tenascin-3 FnIII domain-based scaffolds that specifically bind to CD40L. The invention further provides engineered variants with increased affinity for the target. The present invention is also related to engineered scaffolds as prophylactic, diagnostic, or therapeutic agents, in particular for therapeutic uses against SLE and other autoimmune diseases and conditions.
COMPOSITIONS AND METHODS FOR TREATING WOUNDS IN LIVESTOCK
The present disclosure relates in general to compositions and methods for treating wounds in livestock that help wounds heal faster with less visible scarring. One aspect of the present disclosure includes compositions for treating wounds in livestock that utilize natural, non-toxic and organic ingredients such as honey, colloidal silver, coconut oil, collagen peptides, turmeric, sugar, salt and bromelain. Another aspect of the present disclosure includes methods for treating wounds in livestock utilizing the composition through means of a topical ointment or spray. The intended purpose of the present disclosure is to treat wounds in livestock by reducing inflammation and healing scratches, strangles and flesh wounds, including bacterial, viral and fungal infections.

Immunocompatible chorionic membrane products
Provided herein is a placental product comprising an immunocompatible chorionic membrane. Such placental products can be cryopreserved and contain viable therapeutic cells after thawing. The placental product of the present invention is useful in treating a patient with a tissue injury (e.g. wound or burn) by applying the placental product to the injury. Similar application is useful with ligament and tendon repair and for engraftment procedures such as bone engraftment.

NOVEL IMMUNOTHERAPY AGAINST SEVERAL TUMORS INCLUDING GASTROINTESTINAL AND GASTRIC CANCER
A method of treating a patient who has gastric cancer, gastrointestinal cancer, colorectal cancer, pancreatic cancer, lung cancer, and/or renal cancer includes administering to said patient a composition containing a population of activated T cells that selectively recognize cells in the patient that aberrantly express a peptide. A pharmaceutical composition contains activated T cells that selectively recognize cells in a patient that aberrantly express a peptide, and a pharmaceutically acceptable carrier, in which the T cells bind to the peptide in a complex with an MHC class I molecule, and the composition is for treating the patient who has gastric cancer, gastrointestinal cancer, colorectal cancer, pancreatic cancer, lung cancer, and/or renal cancer. A method of treating a patient who has cancer includes administering to said patient a composition comprising a peptide in the form of a pharmaceutically acceptable salt, thereby inducing a T-cell response to the cancer.
