System and method for fabricating a dental restoration
A system for fabricating a dental restoration to restore a plurality of teeth in a dentition of a patient is described. The dentition includes a restoration dental arch and an opposing dental arch. The restoration dental arch includes a restoration site and the opposing dental arch is opposite the restoration dental arch. The system includes an impression apparatus, a motion capture apparatus, an interference model generation system, and a restoration design system. The impression apparatus is configured to capture an impression of the dentition of the patient. The motion capture apparatus is configured to capture a plurality of location data points that represent the locations of the opposing dental arch relative to the restoration dental arch. The interference model generation system is configured to generate an interference model for the restoration site. The restoration design system is for designing a restoration using the interference model.
Dental appliances and methods for their fabrication
The invention consists of a rapidly crosslinkable, two-component silicone elastomer together with a specially designed tray that serves as a form for the silicone resin and forms an integral portion of a dental appliance.
HYDROPHILIC IMPRESSION MATERIAL WITH IMPROVED STORAGE STABILITY
Disclosed herein is a dental impression material that includes a two part addition curing silicone composition. The disclosed impression material contains a surfactant system composed of a fluorosurfactant and a fatty alcohol ethoxylate. The impression material disclosed herein exhibits improved storage stability than known systems using fluorosurfactants and silicone ether compounds.
CATIONICALLY CURING DENTAL COMPOSITION CONTAINING POLYMERIC PARTICLES AND USE THEREOF
The invention relates to a curable dental composition comprising a cationically hardenable compound (A) comprising at least two aziridine moieties, a starter (B) being suitable to cure the hardenable compound (A), polymeric particles as filler component (C), the polymeric particles having a maximum particle size of 150 μm or below and the component(s) the polymeric particles are made of being based on fluoropolymers comprising more than 99% monomer repeating units of tetra fluoro ethylene. The invention also relates to the use of such composition for producing a dental impression material or a dental retraction material.
RADICAL POLYMERISATION INITIATORS FOR LIGHT-CURABLE DENTAL MATERIALS
The invention provides a light-curable dental material comprising a polymerizable compound having at least one ethylenically unsaturated bond and a hexaaryl bisimidazole as a photopolymerisation initiator.
CATIONICALLY AND RADIATION CURABLE COMPOSITION
The invention relates to a curable composition comprising a resin matrix, the resin matrix comprising cationically curable components (A) and radiation curable components (B), a curing system, the curing system comprising a starter (A-S) suitable for curing the cationically curable components (A) and a photo-initiator (B-I), the curable composition being provided as a Base Part and Catalyst Part being separated before use, wherein the Base Part comprises components (A) and (B) and wherein the Catalyst Part comprises components (A-S) and (B-I). The composition can be used for taking a dental impression including the subgingival parts.
MACROMONOMER BASED LIGHT-CURABLE DENTAL IMPRESSION MATERIAL
A light-curable dental impression material comprising (a) a polymerizable polysiloxane resin composition comprising compounds of formula (I)
E-(L.sup.1-Z).sub.n-L.sup.2-E (I)
(b) a particulate filler; and
(c) a photoinitiator.
MACROMONOMER BASED LIGHT-CURABLE DENTAL IMPRESSION MATERIAL
A light-curable dental impression material comprising
(a) a polymerizable polysiloxane resin composition comprising compounds of formula (I)
E(L.sup.1Z).sub.nL.sup.2E (I)
(b) a particulate filler; and
(c) a photoinitiator.
LIGHT CURED ADDITION SILICONE IMPRESSION MATERIAL WITH IMPROVED STORAGE STABILITY
The present disclosure generally relates to a curable one part silicone composition. The curable one part silicone composition includes an organopolysiloxane compound having at least two unsaturated groups; an organohydrogenpolysiloxane compound having at least two SiH groups; a catalyst for enabling the addition of the hydrogen atoms bonded to the silicone to the unsaturated group; and at least one surface treated particulate filler. The curable one part silicone composition is useful as a dental impression material. More particularly, the curable one part silicone composition including the surface treated filler extends storage stability of the dental impression material. The disclosure also provides methods of preparing such curable one part silicone composition.
