SOLID PERSONAL CARE PRODUCT AND PRODUCTION METHOD THEREOF
20230047064 · 2023-02-16 · ·

The present invention provides a solid personal care product comprising: a core layer containing a cleansing or conditioning component; and a skin layer containing a water-soluble or water-dispersible polymer. A solid personal care product produced according to the present invention solves the disadvantage that existing conventional solid cleansing agents or conditioning agents in powder, soap, or other flake form have of the powder scattering, as well as the problem of the cleansing power, conditioning efficacy, and fragrance-preserving property of such agents degrading. Moreover, the contents of the cleansing or conditioning component does not rub off onto the hands of a user even when the user holds the contents in the user's hands, and the shape of the product according to the present invention does not change even in places of high humidity. In addition, this solid personal care product is easy to use, store, and package, while retaining the same functions as those of conventional liquid cleansing and conditioning personal care products.

Encapsulated Cleansing Composition

This disclosure provides an encapsulated cleansing composition that is free of talc and that includes a core particle including (1) tapioca starch, (2) potato starch, (3) at least one anionic surfactant, and (4) at least one amphoteric surfactant. The encapsulated cleaning composition also includes a coating disposed about at least a portion of the core particle and includes a polysaccharide.

MANUFACTURING METHOD FOR SEMI-CURED GEL TYPE NAIL
20230232959 · 2023-07-27 ·

The present disclosure discloses a method of manufacturing a semi-cured gel nail for nail art, and more particularly, to a method of manufacturing a UV-C semi-cured nail cured by being irradiated with ultraviolet of a UV-C wavelength. A gel nail according to an embodiment of the present disclosure may have a smooth surface on which luster is maintained and no fingerprint marks or traces remain even when the gel nail comes in contact with a hand or a device.

DISPENSING METHOD FOR PRODUCING DISSOLVABLE UNIT DOSE FILM CONSTRUCTS

Dissolvable unit dose film constructs are made by providing a muco-adhesive composition including a muco-adhesive polymer matrix in which the muco-adhesive polymer matrix has a water-soluble polymer, water-dispersible polymer, water-swellable polymer, or combinations thereof and a liquid carrier. The method further includes drying the muco-adhesive composition to remove at least a portion of the liquid carrier, forming a muco-adhesive film substrate, forming a composition for an active layer, the composition including a polymer matrix in which the polymer matrix for the active layer composition includes a water-soluble polymer, water-dispersible polymer, water-swellable polymer, or combinations thereof, an active ingredient and a liquid carrier. The method further includes depositing the composition for the active layer onto the muco-adhesive substrate as a plurality of individual volumes and removing the liquid carrier from the plurality of deposited individual volumes to form a plurality of dissolvable film active layers on the muco-adhesive substrate.

Conditioning Composition

A conditioning composition is free of talc and includes tapioca starch, optionally potato starch, optionally corn starch, at least one anionic surfactant, and optionally at least one amphoteric surfactant, which may be described as a core particle. The conditioning composition may include, or be free of, a coating disposed about at least a portion of the core particle and having a compound chosen from cellulose polymers, anionic or cationic polymers, vinyl polymers, natural polymers, polysaccharides, copolymers thereof, and combinations thereof. The conditioning composition includes from about 0 to about 25 percent by weight of liquid, has a pH of from about 3.5 to about 5 when mixed with water at about 10 wt % and produces a flash foam of less than about 10 ml when contacted with water at a temperature of about 26 to about 30° C. degrees.

CALCIUM PHOSPHATE-BASED CORE-SHELL STRUCTURED MATERIAL, METHOD FOR PREPARING THE SAME, AND ORAL CARE COMPOSITION USING THE SAME

A calcium phosphate-based core-shell structured material, a method for preparing the same, and an oral care composition using the same are provided. The calcium phosphate-based core-shell structured material includes an amorphous calcium phosphate (ACP) core and a β-tricalcium phosphate (β-TCP) shell covering the core. The method includes a first sintering step and a second sintering step. The first sintering step is to sinter an ACP material at between 700° C. and 800° C. to obtain an α-TCP shell. The second sintering step allows the α-TCP shell to form into the β-TCP shell by sintering at between 800° C. and 900° C. The oral care composition includes a calcium phosphate mixture and an orally receivable carrier. The calcium phosphate mixture includes a powder of the calcium phosphate-based core-shell structured material and a tricalcium phosphate powder mixed in a weight ratio from 3:5 to 3:7.
