FRAGRANCE COMPOSITION, SCENT DISPENSER AND METHOD FOR REDUCING MALODOR
A fragrance composition which reduces malodor during chemical treatment of keratin fibers is described. The keratin fibers may be human keratin fibers, such as human hair. The fragrance compound comprises p-mentha-8-thiol-3-one, cis-3-hexenol, cis-3-hexenyl acetate, and allyl amyl glycolate and further comprises one or more organic solvents selected from the group consisting of benzyl alcohol, dipropylene glycol, isopropyl myristate, and ethanol in an amount of 1% by weight or more, calculated to the total weight of the composition.
FOAMING BODY DEODORIZER
A method of making a foaming deodorant containing an aqueous solution of citric acid, aloe vera gel, capryl capryl glucose, hydrogen peroxide, and witch hazel. The foaming deodorant may also have an essential oil, a fragrance, and/or a color. The foaming deodorant is added to a dispensing container and dispensed from a pressurized dispensing container or from a dispensing container having a dispensing pump. Citric acid and hydrogen peroxide safely kill bacteria on the skin. The foaming deodorant may be used anywhere on the skin of the body.
Nasal foam via cribriform plate for medication delivery to the brain and/or body and for nasal moisturization and hygiene
Methods and compositions for delivering medicine and other substances to the brain and the body via the cribriform plate using foamable compositions are described. Methods and compositions for improving nasal hygiene and moisturizing the nasal cavity using foamable compositions are also described.
ANTIPERSPIRANT COMPOSITIONS
An aqueous antiperspirant composition comprising: 1) a metal salt with a M:X mole ratio from about 0.25 to 0.5, wherein X is an anion with a −1 or −2 charge and M is a metal ion with a +2, +3 or +4 charge; 2) an amino acid wherein the M:amino acid mole ratio is from about 5 to about 0.33; and 3) wherein the pH of the composition is from about 2 to about 4.
AEROSOL DISPENSER CONTAINING A HAIRSPRAY COMPOSITION AND A NITROGEN PROPELLANT
An aerosol hairspray product with a spray device and a pressurizable container having a container wall which encloses a reservoir for storing a compressed gas propellant and a hairspray composition. The hairspray composition can be ethanol-based or ethanol-free. The spray properties of the product, including the spray rate and median droplet size, can be maintained throughout the lifetime of the container.
Acrylic hair fixative copolymers and compositions
A hair fixative composition comprising a film forming polymer that is prepared from monomers comprising (a) 10-30% by weight of one or more copolymerizable comonomers selected from the group consisting of N-alkyl (meth)acrylamide wherein the alkyl group thereof contains from 2 to 12 carbon atoms, wherein for at least one of said copolymerizable comonomers the alkyl group contains from 5 to 12 carbon atoms; (b) 14-21% by weight of copolymerizable comonomers comprising acrylic acid and optionally one or more acidic copolymerizable comonomers selected from the group consisting of methacrylic acid, crotonic acid, itaconic acid, maleic acid, fumaric acid, and the (C.sub.1-C.sub.4)alkyl half esters of maleic and fumaric acids; and (c) 40-76% by weight two or more copolymerizable comonomers selected from the group consisting of (C.sub.1-C.sub.12)alkyl(meth)acrylates, wherein at least one of said two or more copolymerizable comonomers is a (C.sub.1-C.sub.2)alkyl(meth)acrylate; said film forming polymer being optionally completely or partially neutralized with a basic reagent.
Combar for skin and hair treatment
A cosmetic cleansing composition, which is solid at about 25° C., is disclosed. The cosmetic cleansing composition includes up to about 90% by weight, based on a total weight of the cosmetic cleansing composition, of alkali metal salts of fatty acids (soaps), from about 1 to about 40% by weight, based on a total weight of the cosmetic cleansing composition, of amino acid surfactant(s), and from about 0.05 to about 10% by weight, based on a total weight of the cosmetic cleansing composition, of citric acid ester and/or salt(s) of citric acid.
Wax Foamable Vehicle and Pharmaceutical Compositions Thereof
Unique foamable vehicles or carriers comprising at least one wax, waxy substance, counterpart or derivative, a stabilizer, water, and a propellant are provided. In some embodiments, the wax is a liquid wax. In some embodiments, the wax includes a solid wax and a liquid wax. The compositions are substantially free of crystals. The components are selected to provide a composition that is substantially resistant to aging and to phase separation, and/or can substantially solubilize and or stabilize active ingredients. Pharmaceutical and cosmetic compositions with potentially enhanced skin delivery and their uses are also provided.
AEROSOL DEVICE FOR DRY SHAMPOOING AND TREATING THE HAIR
The invention relates to an aerosol device comprising:—a container containing:—one or more propellants, and—a composition comprising one or more sebum-absorbing powders with a sebum up-take of greater than or equal to 35 ml/100 g, it being possible for the propellant(s) to be present in the composition or, in the container, separate from the composition,—a means for dispensing said composition comprising:—a body (3) that is open at its two opposite axial ends,—an engaging part (10) that is open at its two opposite axial ends, at least partially defining a dispensing orifice (12).
