A hair cosmetic composition including the following components (A) and (B), wherein the content of component (A) is 0.05% by mass or more and 10% by mass or less, and the content of component (B) is 5% by mass or more and 99.9% by mass or less: (A) a self-crosslinking compound; and (B) a compound having an IOB of 1.3 or less in the organic conceptual diagram and being liquid at 20° C.

An oil-in-water-type emulsion cosmetic comprising (1) water, (2) an organic UV filter, (3) a thermo-thickening polymer and (4) an anionic surfactant, wherein component (3) is (3a) a cellulosic thermo-thickening polymer or (3b) a triblock polyoxyalky-lene-based thermo-thickening polymer, and component (4) is selected from an alkyl phosphoric acid ester of 12 to 22 carbon atoms, an amide of alkylcarboxylic acid having 12 to 22 carbon atoms and an amino acid, and a monoester of a polycarboxylic acid and a glyceride of an alkylcarboxylic acid having 12 to 22 carbon atoms.

An anhydrous topical composition provides a water repellent surface. The anhydrous topical composition has at least one film former with surface tension lower than 35 dynes/cm, at least one particle having a hydrophobic surface or a hydrophobic surface treatment, and a volatile topical carrier.

Bleaching agents with improved resistance to oil separation and better miscibility with dye-containing formulations comprise—in relation to their weight—from about 0.015 to about 10 wt.-% ethylene octene copolymer(s), from about 5 to about 70 wt.-% oil component(s), from about 1 to about 70 wt.-% peroxydisulfate(s) chosen from the group of sodium peroxodisulfate and/or potassium peroxodisulfate and/or ammonium peroxodisulfate, and ≦1 wt.-% free water.

Such hair cleansing conditioners can also be easily rinsed out from the hair.
