Disclosed is a cosmetic composition for skin soothing. The cosmetic composition includes, as active ingredients, exosomes derived from naturally occurring deer antler velvet. The cosmetic composition can effectively soothe the skin whose condition has been abnormally altered (such as atopic dermatitis, inflammation, erythema, oxidation, cytotoxic agents in the skin, loss of moisture, melasma, itching, roughness or wrinkles) by various causes.

BIOLOGICAL HAIR SHAPE CHANGE COMPOSITION AND KIT, AND METHOD FOR CHANGING HAIR SHAPE

A biological hair shape change composition including a macromolecular component, a small molecular component and an alkali agent component is provided. The macromolecular component includes a protease belonging to the class of alkaline proteases, and the small molecular component includes a peptide with reduction activity. Both the macromolecular component and the small molecular component are obtained from a fermentation product of Bacillus licheniformis and a keratin and/or keratin polymer-containing medium. Molecular weights of ingredients in the macromolecular component are greater than or equal to 3 kDa and are 3-1000 kDa, and molecular weights of ingredients in the small molecular component are less than 3 kDa and are 0.01-2.99 kDa.

SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR STIMULATING HAIR GROWTH

A system and method are provided for stimulating hair growth of a user. The system includes a stimulating unit in communication with a control unit. The stimulating unit includes at least one electrode to be placed on a region of the user, a pulser configured to send electronic pulses to the electrode, and a power supply which supplies power to the pulser. Operation of the system includes the steps of placing the at least one electrode on a region of the user, relaying a plurality of pulses to the electrode, terminating the pulses when a predetermined number of pulses have been delivered, and removing the electrode from the region of the user.

RAWHIDE ANIMAL CHEW INCLUDING MICROPORES FILLED WITH CHITOSAN
20220378018 · 2022-12-01 ·

A microporous animal chew comprising a rawhide sheet having a thickness in the range of 0.1 millimeters to 3.0 millimeters and a plurality of micropores extending through said rawhide sheet at least partially filled with chitosan. The rawhide sheet provides a digestible yet chewable and durable animal chew.

BIOMATERIAL COMPRISING A RESORBABLE POROUS MATRIX AND ASSOCIATED MANUFACTURING METHOD

A biomaterial including a resorbable porous matrix formed from a material including collagen, and exhibiting an inner volume and an outer surface. Advantageously, the biomaterial includes at least one type of living biological cells of a tissue, disposed in the inner volume and alternatively or complementarily on the surface of the porous matrix. The biomaterial forms a tissue substitute being close to a native tissue, in particular in terms of biological structure present in the tissue, and physiological functions.

ANIMAL FIBRE PRODUCT
20230146729 · 2023-05-11 ·

A product having powder-like properties, the product comprising animal fibres, e.g. wool, having a length less than 10 mm, preferably less than about 3 mm, more preferably less than about 2 mm. Surprisingly, animal fibres having a length below a certain fibre length have powder-like properties, such as improved rheological properties, increased density, increased surface area and increased porosity. Also described are processes for preparing compositions and composites thereof, and uses thereof, e.g., as a filter aid, in a dietary supplement, in a filler and in a hair thickener.

APPLICATION OF TRANSGENIC STEM CELL-DERIVED EXOSOME IN PREPARING MEDICAMENT OR WHITENING COSMETIC

An application of a transgenic stem cell-derived exosome in preparing a medicament or whitening cosmetic is provided. In the present disclosure, miR-27b-3p is transfected into an epidermal stem cell, and a transgenic stem cell-derived exosome is harvested. It is experimentally verified that the exosome can inhibit the expression of PIK3R3 protein in melanocytes and the proliferation and migration of melanocytes; and safety experiments further demonstrate the safety of the exosome. Therefore, corresponding medicaments or cosmetics prepared from the exosome have excellent medicinal and cosmetic application prospects.

SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR HAIR CONCEALMENT
20170311667 · 2017-11-02 ·

Disclosed are a system, and method for fixation of hair fibers on a bald region on a human head. The method comprises pre-treating the bald region so that excess static electricity is removed from the bald region. The removal of static electricity improves fixation property the bald region. The method further includes, using a hair concealment device that is made up of a bottom and a top part. The top part is made up of metal and hence when a user touches metal portion with his hands, static electricity of the hair fibers is removed. This provides better fixation property to the human fibers and increases fixation to the bald region. The method further includes providing finishing to the bald region by spraying a soft gel to further improve fixation of hair to the bald region and natural human hair.
