SYNERGISTIC NUTRITIONAL COMPOSITIONS FOR TREATING CEREBROVASCULAR DISEASES
The present invention disclosed herein relates to synergistic compositions for cerebrovascular diseases. In particular, the invention relates to synergistic, efficient, composition for treating cerebral ischemia or stroke comprising specific combination of standardized celery seed extract (CSE) enriched with Dl N-Butylphthalide (NBP) and SIRT1 activators, wherein Dl-3-N-Butylphthalide (NBP) and SIRT1 activator are present in a weight ratio of 1:0.1 to 1:5 along with pharmaceutically acceptable excipients.
Inhibiting mutant IDH-1
Methods of treating patients diagnosed with cancer harboring an IDH-1 mutation are provided, including the therapeutic administration of a certain inhibitor of a mutant IDH-1 as a single agent, or in combination with azacitidine (AZA).
Formulations of cysteamine and cystamine
The disclosure provides cysteamine salt and cystamine formulations comprising enteric coatings. The disclosure also provides composition for use in treating diseases and disorders that can be treated with cysteamine.
Methods for treating cardiovascular diseases
The present invention is directed to a method for treating cardiovascular diseases such as acute myocardial infarction, atherosclerosis, heart failure, stroke, thrombosis, carditis (including acute myocarditis, acute pericarditis and complicated pericarditis), cardiac allograft rejection, cardiomyopathy, and peripheral vascular diseases. The method comprises administering to a subject in need thereof dapansutrile, in an effective amount. A preferred route of administration is oral administration.
Quinoline derivative for treatment of triple-negative breast cancer
The present invention provides a quinoline derivative for treating triple-negative breast cancer and use thereof in preparing a pharmaceutical composition for treating a tumor. Specifically, the present invention relates to use of quinoline derivative 1-[[[4-(4-fluoro-2-methyl-1H-indol-5-yl)oxy-6-methoxyquinoline-7-yl]oxy]methyl]cyclopropylamine in the treatment of triple-negative breast cancer, ##STR00001##
Therapeutic compounds, formulations, and uses thereof
Provided herein are compositions, formulations, and (e.g., oral) dosage forms comprising a compound of Formula (I). In specific instances, such compositions comprise an emulsifier, a solubilizer, a polyethylene glycol, a surfactant, and an antioxidant. In some instances, such compositions are useful for the treatment of fibrosis, cancer, and/or chronic inflammation.
Ayurvedic encapsulated gold nanoparticles, fabrication methods and cancer therapeutic methods
Ayurvedic encapsulated gold nanoparticles, methods of fabrication and methods of treatment are provided. A method of fabrication includes mixing dried gooseberry product or mango peel product or phytochemical existent therein, into a liquid medium to form a reducing agent solution. Gold salts are mixed into the reducing agent solution. Reaction of the gold salts proceeds, in the absence of any other reducing agent, to form a nanoparticle solution of stabilized, biocompatible Ayurvedic encapsulated gold nanoparticles. An Ayurvedic medicine consists of a non-radioactive gold nanoparticle encapsulated with phytochemical existent in mango peal or gooseberry in a capsule with curcumin extract and gum Arabic.
Fumarate ester dosage forms
Described herein are pharmaceutical compositions comprising fumarate esters, methods for making the same, and methods for treating subjects in need thereof. In particular, oral controlled release pharmaceutical compositions comprising fumarate esters suspended in liquid matrices are described. One embodiment described herein is a pharmaceutical composition comprising fumarate esters suspended in a lipid or lipophilic liquid with enhanced bioavailability.
MODIFIED RELEASE FORMULATIONS CONTAINING DRUG-ION EXCHANGE RESIN COMPLEXES
A particulate, modified release barrier coated drug-cation exchange resin complex comprising a core composed of a drug complexed with a pharmaceutically acceptable ion-exchange resin is provided. Methods of making and products containing this coated complex are described.
NOVEL PHARMACEUTICAL COMPOSITION
Disclosed herein a pharmaceutical composition comprising aprepitant a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof; at least one hydrocarbon derivative selected from among a fatty acid of 14 to 18 carbon atoms, and a fatty alcohol of 14 to 18 carbon atoms; and at least one selected from among polyoxyethyelene-type nonionic surfactant, sucrose fatty acid ester, and Macrogol 15 hydroxystearate. The pharmaceutical composition of the present disclosure can release aprepitant or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof to effectively exert the pharmaceutical efficacy, and can be dissolved in a fasted state simulated gastrointestinal fluid so that it can be useful for study on the in vivo pharmacokinetic behavior of aprepitant.
