ABSORBENT BODY, WATER-ABSORBING RESIN, AND ABSORBENT ARTICLE
Provided is an absorbent body that, for example, in a case where the absorbent body has been used in an absorbent article, such as a thin disposable diaper, having an absorbent body with a low proportion of fiber material (hydrophilic fibers) such as pulp, enables the absorbent article such as a disposable diaper to have an improved liquid trapping function on second and subsequent urinations over the conventional ones and particularly to have an increased amount of liquid trapped under load on the second and subsequent urinations over the conventional ones. Also provided is a water-absorbing resin that is used in the absorbent body and has an increased absorption capacity under load on the second and subsequent urinations over the conventional ones.
The absorbent body includes a water-absorbing resin having a gel expansion force under a load of 4.83 kPa of 26 N or more.

Medical Composition Comprising Adipose Tissue-Derived Extracellular Matrix And Method For Preparing Same
The present invention relates to a medical composition and a method for preparing the same, the medical composition comprising: an adipose tissue-derived extracellular matrix powder; and a biocompatible polymer or a crosslinked product of the biocompatible polymer. The medical composition according to the present invention exists in a well-aggregated state even after implantation in the body and can maintain the volume thereof for a certain time.
AN ADHESIVE BODY DRESSING AND METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING AN ADHESIVE BODY DRESSING
An adhesive body dressing includes a hydrocolloid adhesive layer (H) and a backing layer (B) provided on a first side of the hydrocolloid adhesive layer (H). The backing layer (B) is made of biodegradable polymer material.
WEARABLE ABSORBENT ARTICLE WITH ROBUST-FEELING WAISTBAND STRUCTURE
A disposable diaper having front and rear augmented waistband zones having a specified size and stiffness is disclosed. For relatively thinner, less bulky diapers of currently marketed designs, providing augmented waistband zones is believed to reduce mental and physical effort for the caregiver in application of the diaper. The augmented waistband zones provide a robust-feeling structure proximate the waist edges, which the caregiver may grasp at front and rear to adjust the diaper on the wearer. Caregiver perception of a need to reach deeper into the diaper structure to grasp it at a thicker area to tug at it is believed to be reduced.

WOUND COVERINGS COMPRISING VITAMIN D AND RELATED METHODS
A wound covering is provided that comprises a substrate and vitamin D, or analogues or metabolites thereof, embedded in the substrate. Methods of making a wound covering are also provided and include the steps of providing a solution that includes a polymer; adding vitamin D, or analogues or metabolites thereof, to the solution to form a mixture; and forming one or more fibers from the mixture that are then embedded with the vitamin D, or analogues or metabolites thereof. Methods of treating a subject are further provided and include the step of applying a wound covering including one or more fibers embedded with vitamin D, or analogues or metabolites thereof, to a site on a subject.
ABSORBENT ARTICLE HAVING A LOTIONED TOPSHEET
The absorbent article of the invention has a liquid impervious backsheet and a liquid pervious topsheet joined to the backsheet. The topsheet has an inner surface oriented toward the interior of the absorbent article and an outer surface oriented toward the skin and hair of the wearer when the absorbent article is being worn and an absorbent core positioned between the topsheet and the backsheet. At least a portion of the topsheet outer surface comprises an effective amount of a lotion coating which is semi-solid or solid at 20 degrees C., the lotion coating comprising:
(i) from about 10 to about 95% of a substantially water free emollient having a plastic or fluid consistency at 20 degrees C. wherein the emollient contains 5% or less water, the emollient comprising a member selected from the group consisting of petroleum-based emollients, fatty acid ester emollients, alkyl ethoxylate emollients, and mixtures thereof;
(ii) from about 5 to about 90% of an agent capable of immobilizing the emollient on the outer surface of the topsheet, the immobilizing agent being miscible with the emollient, the immobilizing agent having a melting point of at least about 35 degrees C. wherein the immobilizing agent is selected from the group consisting of polyhydroxy fatty acid esters, polyhydroxy fatty acid amides, C14-C22 fatty alcohols, C14-C22 fatty acids, C14-C22 fatty alcohol ethoxylates with a degree of ethoxylation of 4 or less, and mixtures thereof.
BIORESORBABLE WOUND DRESSING
The present invention is directed to novel non-woven fabrics containing growth and differentiation factor proteins. Said fabrics are specifically designed to accelerate tissue regeneration and wound healing processes of mammalian tissues. Furthermore, the invention provides wound dressings, pads or implants comprising the novel non-woven fabrics.
