INFRARED DRYING SYSTEMS
An infrared heating system is disclosed that includes an enclosed tube extending from a first open end to a second open end, the enclosed tube having a sidewall opening in a sidewall of the tube at a location between the first and second open ends; an infrared heater mounted to the exterior of the enclosed tube such that heating elements of the infrared heater are exposed to the tube sidewall opening; and an auger disposed within the enclosed tube, the auger being driven by a drive system such that material fed into the enclosed tube at the first open end is transported to the second open end of the tube and is exposed to the heating elements of the infrared heater as the material is transported between the first and second open ends.
TUNABLE LIGHT SOURCE
An illuminated bassinet including a light source for delivering therapeutic light and anti-bacterial light, where an interlock prevents the anti-bacterial light from being emitted while an infant is located in the bassinet. Also, a surgical illuminator configured to concurrently or alternately emit different wavelengths of light for treating a physiological condition and for affecting perception of the surgical opening.
MACHINE, SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR THE FILTRATION, DISINFECTION AND PURIFICATION OF FUEL IN CONTAMINATED TANKS
A machine, a filtration system and a method for disinfection and purification in fuel tanks located in places with high humidity or high relative humidity, having a machine (1) with an inlet for the fuel from the tank, a filtration system of a coarse-grain filter (2) and a fine-grain filter (2′); a radiation chamber (3) configurable for the application of radiation to the filtered fuel; a pump (4); a flowmeter (5) with at least two electrovalves (17); a centrifuge (6) with a turbine filter (6′) and control via an electrical panel (7); a cleaning machine (1); a suction hose (8) with an extendable suction lance (9); a high-pressure discharge hose (11); a return hose (12); a system for the opening and sealing of the tank (25); and an automatic filter self-cleaning system which reverses the flow, sending the fouled fuel to an additional tank (14) where it is drained.
System for the internal disinfection of containers
The present invention relates to a system for the disinfection of containers in a blowing and filling system of the containers with a product, in particular a system for the internal disinfection of the containers by means of ultraviolet-C radiation LED emitters.
Process for treating container preforms with non-contacting plasma treatment
Disclosed is a process for treating at least one hollow body made of thermoplastic material, such as a preform or a cap, the treatment process successively including at least the following steps: a first step, consisting in treating at least the inside of the hollow body using hydrogen peroxide; a second step, consisting in heating the hollow body; a third step, consisting in treating the hollow body with plasma in order to reduce the concentration of hydrogen peroxide residues. Also disclosed is a plant for manufacturing containers in which the process is carried out in particular by way of a unit for the plasma treatment of the preforms.
DEVICE AND METHOD FOR CLEANING VEHICLE SURFACES
A purification device for cleaning one or more surfaces of a vehicle, the purification device configured to apply a purification process onto the one or more surfaces of the vehicle, the purification device includes a heating device for increasing a temperature of the surface.
MEDIA SANITIZING CASSETTE AND METHOD OF OPERATION
A valuable media sanitizing/cleansing cassette is provided for sanitizing/cleansing surfaces of valuable media dispensed to a consumer during a dispense transaction at a transaction terminal. Dispensed media is urged from one or more media cassettes within the terminal along a transport path. The transport path is altered to pass the media through the sanitizing/cleansing cassette where the top and bottom surfaces of the media are illuminated with Ultraviolet (UV) radiation to eradicate any bacteria or virus that may be adhered to the top or the bottom surfaces of the media. Once the media passes through the sanitizing/cleansing cassette, the now sanitized/cleansed media is urged along a remainder of the transport path and dispensed from a media interface of the terminal to the consumer. In an embodiment, media deposited at the terminal is also sanitized/cleansed by passing through the sanitizing/cleansing cassette before being stored in the appropriate media cassettes.
ELECTRONIC SANITIZING DEVICES AND METHODS
An electronic sanitizing device includes a germicidal light source and one or both of a red light source or a near infrared light source. The germicidal light source is configured to output germicidal light with a peak wavelength of 250 to 270 nanometers. The red light source is configured to output red light with a peak wavelength of 620 to 700 nanometers. The near infrared light source is configured to output near infrared light with a peak wavelength of 800 to 1200 nanometers.
ACTIVATING EMITTING MODULES ON A WEARABLE DEVICE
A system for activating an emitting module is provided. A computer device identifies (i) environment data relating to an environment, and (ii) user data relating to a user located within the environment, wherein the user is wearing a wearable computing device. The computing device predicts that the user will interact with a surface in the environment based, at least in part, on the environment data and the user data. The computing device selects at least one emitting module from a plurality of emitting modules on the wearable device based, at least in part, on a predicted proximity of the at least one emitting module to the surface. The computing device prompts the user to activate the at least one emitting module.
ULTRAVIOLET CLEANING OF CARRIERS IN A DRIVE-UP BANKING SYSTEM
Apparatuses, methods, and systems for a light kit assembly to disinfect a carrier between banking transactions of a drive-through banking system. Customers or bankers can activate the sanitization mode of operation to kill germs and viruses without removal of the carrier from the drive-through banking system. The sanitization mode of operation can be automatic. The carrier is positioned in the carrier pocket of a customer station in which a light kit assembly has been installed. An indicator light positioned exteriorly of the customer station indicates that the carrier is being sanitized by one or more UV lights attached to a mounting plate having two bi-folded wings that is positioned within the carrier pocket adjacent to the carrier. Two mounting plates in a mirror-image arrangement may be positioned in the carrier pocket to enable 360 degree application of UV light onto the carrier.
