Sterilizing Cabinet Filter Cartridge
A filter cartridge for a sterilizing cabinet includes a first gasket comprising a rigid or flexible edge portion and forming a frame defining a hollow center portion, a first filter comprising a porous material for maintaining a sterilized condition in the sterilizing cabinet and passing gaseous materials through the porous material, wherein the first filter is affixed to the first gasket, and a second filter comprising a porous material for maintaining a sterilized condition in the sterilizing cabinet and passing gaseous materials through the porous material, wherein the second filter is either affixed to the first filter or the first gasket opposite the first filter, and wherein the filter cartridge provides sufficient structural integrity to form a sealing interface with a confronting surface of the sterilizing cabinet.
Pipette carousel with germicidal lamp
An apparatus for decontaminating and storing lab instruments such as pipettes. A carousel feature of the apparatus provides convenient access and allows multiple items to be decontaminated at the same time. The ultraviolet lamp directs UV radiation to surface contaminations of the instruments and effectively eliminates various microorganisms.
SYSTEM FOR PRETREATING AND DISINFECTING WASTE
A system for pretreating and disinfecting waste, wherein the system includes a transport line configured to move the waste, and including a conveying device, a heating device configured to heat a part at least of the waste when the waste moves along a part at least of the transport line, and in that the system includes a tunnel hermetically sealing a part at least of the waste transport line, and in that the system further includes an ozone injection device configured to apply ozone on a part at least of the waste when the waste moves along a part at least of the transport line.
Powder sterilization method and device
A powder sterilization method for sterilizing powder, in particular an active pharmaceutical ingredient in powder form or food in powder form, using fluid vapor, in particular steam. According to the invention, the fluid vapor is applied to the powder in an evacuated treatment chamber (3), in particular it is applied to the powder during its free fall along a drop section (7), in particular in countercurrent.
OXIDANT COMPOSITION FOR SUPPRESSING LOSS OF ADHESIVE DURABILITY, AND USE OF SAME
The disclosure relates to a microbicidal composition with excellent action of limiting a decrease in durability of synthetic adhesives as well as high microbicidal action. The microbicidal composition contains 0.03 to less than 1.0 mass % of peracetic acid, 0.045 to less than 1.5 mass % of hydrogen peroxide, and 0.036 mass % or more of glycine.
Method for sterilization of formed articles made of acrylic-based polymers
Formed articles, such as medical devices, can be made of an acrylic-based polymer material, which contains at least one polyalkyl(meth)acrylate. A method can be used for the UV disinfection and/or sterilization of the formed articles, including disinfection and/or sterilization of the inner surface of the formed article. The method for UV sterilization involves exposure of the outer surface of the formed article with UV radiation at a wavelength in the range of 260 nm to 300 nm, wherein the acrylic-based polymer material has a transmittance of at least 10%, averaged over the wavelength range from 260 nm to 300 nm, measured in accordance with ISO 13468-2 at a thickness of 3 mm.
PORTABLE GERMICIDAL PANEL
A germicidal device is disclosed. The germicidal device may include a flexible panel that can be rolled up and/or folded. A plurality of LEDs embedded in the panel and a plurality of lenses are embedded in the panel. The panel includes an input connector coupled to the panel that receives input at a first voltage from a power source. The LEDs are coupled to the input connector and provided a second voltage that is suitable for operating the LEDs. The panel also includes one or more output connectors on the panel. The output connectors provide the first voltage as an output voltage from the panel. The panel may be coupled to additional panels with the additional panels receiving the first (output) voltage from the first panel as input voltage to the additional panels.
Sterilizing Cabinet Filter Assembly
Methods and apparatus for sterilization are presented. An apparatus includes a sterilizing cabinet assembly including a cabinet having an access port and a bottom, the bottom configurable to induce a condensate to flow on the bottom to a vent port. The apparatus further includes a door connected to the cabinet, the door moveable between an open position permitting passage through the access port to an interior of the cabinet and a closed position precluding passage through the access port. The apparatus also includes at least one of the cabinet and the door having the vent port, and a filter overlying the vent port and forming a sealed interface with an adjacent portion of the one of the cabinet and the door.
HOLDING DEVICE FOR A STERILE PRODUCT, STERILE PRODUCT, AND METHOD FOR MONITORING A STERILE PRODUCT CYCLE
A holding device for a sterile product, in particular for a sterile product container or a soft packaging, which device is provided to hold, during a preparation process, a medical product to be sterilised, and comprises communication means, and a part of the communication means is designed for a frequency range such that the part, when the sterile product is closed, supplies data in relation to the medical product to an environment of the sterile product.
