KIT FOR CHLORINE DIOXIDE FUMIGATION
The present invention relates to a kit for chlorine dioxide fumigation, a method for manufacturing same, and a method for using same. When the kit of the present invention is used, a high concentration of chlorine dioxide can be generated within a short time period without combustion and explosion. In addition, the kit is conveniently produced and packed as compared to existing disinfection kits, is easy to use, and produces a large amount of chlorine dioxide gas which is safer and has high purity, and thus can be effectively used in space disinfection.
ODOR CONTROL SYSTEM FOR LANDFILLS AND ASSOCIATED METHODS
An odor control system for landfills includes a vapor device configured to generate an odor neutralizing chemical mixture, and at least one fan directed at a working face of a landfill. The at least one fan includes a fan housing having an inlet opening and a discharge opening connected by a passageway therethrough, a blade assembly positioned within the passageway of the fan housing and configured to rotate to generate an airflow from the discharge opening in a first direction, and a motor coupled to the blade assembly. The system includes at least one nozzle in fluid communication with the vapor device and proximate the discharge opening. The at least one nozzle is configured to disperse an odor neutralizing chemical vapor in the same first direction of the airflow from the discharge opening.
METHODS OF TREATMENT OF VOLATILE ORGANIC COMPOUNDS USING CHLORINE DIOXIDE
In various embodiments, methods of treating a space to reduce a concentration of volatile organic compounds present in the space using chlorine dioxide are provided. A method can include application of aqueous and gaseous chlorine dioxide solutions within the space or to materials located within the space. Treatment of materials that emit volatile organic compounds with chlorine dioxide can reduce the emission rate or shorten the volatile organic compound emission cycle of the material. Soft surface substrates such as carpeting materials can be treated with chlorine dioxide to reduce volatile organic compound emission and/or to reduce the number of microorganisms present in the material.
Microbicidal system
The invention provides a system for sanitizing fluids such as water and air. In particular, the invention provides a combination of solid chlorhexidine and a polymer matrix, for which effluents are essentially free of leached chlorhexidine. The systems enable rapid disinfecting of fluids, including in line at the point of use, and can be employed for both high volume applications and disposable single-use applications.
METHODS OF AUTOMATED GARBAGE CHUTE AIR EVACUATION TO IMPROVE AIR QUALITY
This description relates to waste disposal garbage chutes and more particularly to automated air quality management in and around the disposal chute and collection rooms where garbage chutes are present utilizing automated air quality sensing hardware and evacuation devices to provide a clean, sanitary waste room environment. A system according to the present invention includes a 3 step design using an air sensor to determine air cleaning cycle, and an air intake port with specular reflective surfaces in the inside to provide a reflective element to reflect UV light into the airborne particulates thereby killing 99% of the bacteria and fungi before entering an electrified gravity fed fluid filament air filter which collects the dead bacteria and fungi and settles in a collection reservoir. The fluid in the reservoir is then further filtered to clean the fluid for reuse in the automated air cleaning system.
Aroma Dispenser and Composition
The present invention relates to an herbal or sage extract composition for producing aroma without the need to burn the herb. The composition is in the form of an aerosol or a solid air freshener soaked in herbal solution. More specifically, the composition includes an herb such as sage extract that can be in the form of one of oil or powder, a propellant, an active ingredient and an organic solvent. The aerosol solution is sprayed on a surface and releases the herbal or sage aroma that helps in creating positive ambience and helps clearing negative energy. The composition can be used with an aerosol device and allows for a safer and more convenient way to produce the aroma.
Odor-modulating agent and odor-modulating method
The present invention provides an odor-modulating agent that modulates malodors generated in daily living environments or industries to different odors so that harm caused by the malodors can be easily solved, and an odor-modulating method. Specifically, the present invention provides an odor-modulating agent comprising at least one oxygen-containing cyclic compound selected from the group consisting of furan compounds, pyran compounds, and cyclopentanone derivatives.
Method for controlling unpleasant odors
In a method for controlling unpleasant odors in discharge air from containers, rooms or plants in which strong smelling substances such as feces, waste or highly odorous foods are stored or processed, a fluid is introduced into the discharge air in a finely distributed form, which physically and/or chemically neutralizes the odor of the substances contained in the discharge air. The fluid is a 0.1% to 8% aqueous solution of an active substance concentrate which is 55-65 wt.-% triethylcitrate, 17.5 to 22.5 wt.-% 1,2 propanediol and 17.5 to 22 wt.- % di-propylene glycol-methylether. Alternatively, the fluid can also be a mixture of a suitable propellant gas mixture and the active substance concentrate specified above.
BAD-ODOR CONTROL USING ENCAPSULATION TECHNOLOGIES CONTAINING A NEUTRALIZING AGENT
A composition may include microcapsules containing at least one odor-neutralizing agent, and agents may include such a composition. Furthermore, such compositions or agents may reduce malodors and/or be used for treating a surface, for treating room air, or for washing and/or caring for textiles using such compositions or agents.
Aerial Disinfection
This disclosure relates to a method for disinfecting a space. The method includes spraying a composition containing triethylene glycol into a space containing severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2 (SARS-CoV-2) in an amount effective to inactivate SARS-CoV-2.
