The topsheet has an inner surface oriented toward the interior of the absorbent article and an outer surface oriented toward the skin and hair of the wearer when the absorbent article is being worn and an absorbent core positioned between the topsheet and the backsheet. At least a portion of the topsheet outer surface comprises an effective amount of a lotion coating which is semi-solid or solid at 20 degrees C., the lotion coating comprising:

(i) from about 10 to about 95% of a substantially water free emollient having a plastic or fluid consistency at 20 degrees C. wherein the emollient contains 5% or less water, the emollient comprising a member selected from the group consisting of petroleum-based emollients, fatty acid ester emollients, alkyl ethoxylate emollients, and mixtures thereof;

(ii) from about 5 to about 90% of an agent capable of immobilizing the emollient on the outer surface of the topsheet, the immobilizing agent being miscible with the emollient, the immobilizing agent having a melting point of at least about 35 degrees C. wherein the immobilizing agent is selected from the group consisting of polyhydroxy fatty acid esters, polyhydroxy fatty acid amides, C14-C22 fatty alcohols, C14-C22 fatty acids, C14-C22 fatty alcohol ethoxylates with a degree of ethoxylation of 4 or less, and mixtures thereof.

TOOLS FOR TRANSURETHRAL DEPLOYMENT AND FIXATION OF GRAFT FOR THE MANAGEMENT AND TREATMENT OF URETHRAL STRICTURES

An embodiment in accordance with the present invention provides a device and method for the treatment of urethral stricture. The present invention places and holds a graft at an incised urethral stricture site for 5-21 days, while the graft adherences to the incised urethral stricture site. A device of the present invention includes a delivery component, a graft carrier component, and a removal component. In some embodiments, the delivery and removal components may be combined into the same device. The delivery component, the graft carrier component, and the removal component are all configured to enter and exit the urethra without trauma. A method according to an embodiment of the present invention includes harvesting a graft, loading the graft onto the graft carrier component, introducing the delivery device into the urethra with the graft carrier component and graft loaded, and delivering of the graft to the incised urethral stricture site.

Multifunctional Crosslinkers: Compounds, Compositions, And Products Thereof
20230027324 · 2023-01-26 ·

Multifunctional crosslinkers are a reaction product between a polyaziridine compound and two or more functionalized benzophenones. The polyaziridine compound is linked to the functionalized benzophenones through two or more reacted aziridine groups. Coating compositions, comprising: a polymer, and multifunctional crosslinkers. Coated medical devices, comprise a lubricious coating bonded adjacent to an exterior surface of the medical device. The lubricious coating is prepared by UV-curing a coating composition, wherein the coating composition comprises: a water/isopropyl alcohol (IPA) soluble polymer and/or a UV-curable polymer, and a water/IPA soluble multifunctional crosslinker.
