CORROSION-RESISTANT AND LEAK-PROOF STOMA PASTE WITH SELF-REGULATION OF STRENGTH AND PREPARATION METHOD
A corrosion-resistant and leak-proof stoma paste with self-regulation of strength is provided in this disclosure, with a formula comprising 4-40 parts of liquid rubber with a molecular weight ranging from 2000 to 5000, 8-18 parts of mineral oil, 14-34 parts of iota-carrageenan, 10-20 parts of plant polysaccharide and 15-20 parts of sericite, by weight. A product of the present disclosure can self-regulate hardness of the paste according to amount of stoma excreta through cooperation of the iota-carrageenan and the sericite to improve corrosion resistance of the paste; and synergistic effect provided by the iota-carrageenan and the sericite powder can improve strength and corrosion resistance of the paste.
SKIN CARE COMPOSITION
A skin care composition comprising at least 1 weight % potato protein, a first binding agent, comprising polar or non-polar polymer or co-polymer(s) in an amount of 20-70 weight % and 20-80 weight % of a solid. The skin care composition is capable of interacting with enzymes in stomal output and thereby reducing the enzymatic activity.
SKIN PROTECTANT FILM INCLUDING SKIN HEALTH INGREDIENTS
A no-sting skin protectant film forming composition is formulated with a film forming polymer having both polar and nonpolar characteristics, a no-sting nonpolar solvent system, and at least one skin health ingredient. The no-sting skin protectant film forming composition is configured to form a protective film on a skin surface after the solvent system evaporates.
IMPROVED WOUND CARE DEVICE
An antimicrobial amphiphilic hydrogel composition for use in haemostasis of a wound comprising: a first cross-linkable amphiphilic component, the first amphiphilic component, in its chemically cross-linked state, being a lyotropic liquid crystal and having an ordered nanostructure of hydrophobic and hydrophilic domains, the hydrogel comprising an antimicrobial agent covalently attached to the hydrophilic and/or hydrophobic domains.

OSTOMY BAG AND METHOD FOR OSTOMY MANAGEMENT
An ostomy device includes an implant formed of a flexible material and shaped so that the implant is capable of transitioning between a first shape and a second shape. The implant includes a tubular body sized and shaped for insertion within a lumen extending through a hole in an abdominal wall, a flared portion extending radially outward and away from the body when the implant is in the first shape, and a transition region between the body and the flared portion. The transition region and the flared portion are bendable so that transitioning the implant from the first shape into the second shape comprises inverting the flared portion so that a surface of the flared portion can be brought into contact with an outer surface of patient anatomy, whereupon the implant can be attached to the patient anatomy in the second shape.
