Porogen compositions, methods of making and uses
The present specification discloses porogen compositions comprising a core material and shell material, methods of making such porogen compositions, methods of forming such porous materials using such porogen compositions, biocompatible implantable devices comprising such porous materials, and methods of making such biocompatible implantable devices.
Multilayer film including foam layer and ostomy products made therefrom
An ostomy appliance includes a multilayer composite film comprising at least one foam layer. An outer foam layer can function as a skin contact layer providing comfort and softness characteristics that are comparable to a nonwoven comfort layer. Preferably, at least one foam layer includes a vinyl-bond rich triblock copolymer and provides sound absorbing properties. The multilayer composite film can also include at least one layer comprising a filler to further enhance sound absorbing properties.

Foam and composition for foam
The present invention provides a foam having a surface which solates or gelates after absorption of water and appropriately absorbs the water. The foam is prepared by a foam reaction of a mixture comprising at least one polyol, a compound having at least one isocyanate group, and a hydrophilic polymer.

OSTOMY BAG AND METHOD FOR OSTOMY MANAGEMENT
An ostomy device includes an implant formed of a flexible material and shaped so that the implant is capable of transitioning between a first shape and a second shape. The implant includes a tubular body sized and shaped for insertion within a lumen extending through a hole in an abdominal wall, a flared portion extending radially outward and away from the body when the implant is in the first shape, and a transition region between the body and the flared portion. The transition region and the flared portion are bendable so that transitioning the implant from the first shape into the second shape comprises inverting the flared portion so that a surface of the flared portion can be brought into contact with an outer surface of patient anatomy, whereupon the implant can be attached to the patient anatomy in the second shape.
