Disclosed herein are inflatable balloon apparatuses for use in stopping massive blood flow from a uterine wall due trauma or disease. Also disclosed is a method for using the apparatuses.

The invention comprises a urine removal devices that enable urine discharged from a male patient's penis to be contained within a flexible pouch and drawn out of the pouch and away from the genital region of the patient through a drain tube. The pouch comprises a first fluid compartment, a second fluid compartment and a fluid transmission passageway connecting the first fluid compartment and the second fluid compartment—wherein the fluid transmission passageway comprises a thin-film unidirectional fluid flow valve configured to enable for fluid flow from the first fluid compartment to the second fluid compartment, and to prevent fluid flow from the second fluid compartment to the first fluid compartment. The pouch may have an aperture sized to permit a male patient's penis to enter the pouch within the first fluid compartment.

A product bag suspension assembly includes a rod having a first end, a second end, and a body extending between the first end and the second end. A platform is operatively coupled to the second end of the rod and defines an aperture arrangement configured to receive a mounting device of a product bag. A passive milk collection device for storing milk comprises a flexible inner member including a nipple hole for receiving a nipple, and in which, in use, part of the rear surface of the inner member is configured to securely seal onto a user's breast. The device includes a removable rigid outer member configured to attach onto the front surface of the inner member and to provide a free air space around the nipple area for storing milk from the nipple. The circumference of the outer edge of the rear surface of the flexible inner member is substantially larger than the circumference of the rigid outer member.

A wearable passive suction-based milk collection device comprises a compressible milk pouch with a nipple hole or opening in a rear face of the compressible milk pouch. The rear face of the compressible milk pouch is configured to seal against at least part of the user's breast when the pouch is compressed by a user in order to create a negative air pressure inside the pouch, providing suction onto the nipple thereby drawing milk from the nipple for collection in the milk pouch. The device is shaped, at least in part, to fit inside a bra.

The garments include one or more expandable pouches configured to receive a surgical drain evacuator, wherein the expandable pouch is formed of a flexible inelastic material.
