RADIALLY ADJUSTABLE MULTI-CARTRIDGE COMBINATORIAL DRUG DELIVERY DEVICE FOR SUBCUTANEOUS INJECTION
In one aspect, a drug delivery device is provided for delivering drug from a plurality of drug cartridges. The drug delivery device includes: a cylindrical cassette configured to accommodate the plurality of drug cartridges; a reversibly advanceable plunger; and, an indexer for incrementally rotating the cassette to align the plurality of drug cartridges individually with the plunger. The indexer includes first and second shafts with cooperating elements which cause incremental rotation of the first shaft, relative to the second shaft, upon the second shaft engaging the first shaft.
Low dose prefilled drug delivery device and method
A drug delivery device (100) for administering a low dose of a medicament includes a housing (111) and a drug reservoir (101) disposed in the housing (111). A needle (135) is connected to the drug reservoir (101). A pressure applying member (113) is movably connected to the housing (111) and is movable between first and second positions. The pressure applying member (113) does not apply pressure to the drug reservoir (101) in the first position and applies pressure to the drug reservoir (101) in the second position to dispense medicament stored in the drug reservoir (101). A method of administering a low dose of insulin to simulate a first-phase insulin response of a pancreas is also disclosed.
Automatic fluid product injection device
An automatic fluid injection device comprising: a base body (1) for coming into contact with an injection zone; a support assembly (2) for supporting an actuator mechanism (5, 6, 7) that is controlled by power supply means (11); at least one fluid reservoir (3), each containing an injection piston (35), arranged in said base body (1); a needle assembly (100) comprising an insertion actuator (8), needle movement means (9, 9′), a priming needle (101) for associating with each reservoir (3) and for penetrating into said reservoir (3) before moving its piston (35), and an injection needle (102) for penetrating into the injection zone and for injecting the contents of said reservoir(s) (3) into said injection zone, said device including at least one actuator button (200) for priming, inserting the injection needle into the injection zone, administering fluid, and then retracting the injection needle.
MEDICAL PLUG DELIVERY DEVICES WITH A ROTATABLE MAGAZINE AND RELATED COMPONENTS AND METHODS
Medical devices for delivering compositions or medical articles to a patient are disclosed. The medical plug delivery devices can include a fluid delivery device (e.g., a syringe), a frame, and a rotatable magazine. The rotatable magazine can include a plurality of chambers that each hold a composition or a medical article (e.g., a medical plug). By rotating the rotatable magazine relative to the frame, material within the chambers of the rotatable magazine can be sequentially deployed to a patient.

Formulation and process for limiting nerve trauma
Disclosed in some forms is a process of limiting the impact of surgery on a nerve, the process comprising applying a therapeutic substance to the nerve during surgery. In some aspects, disclosed is a formulation for reducing nerve trauma comprising an active pharmacological ingredient adapted to intervene in the activation of pathways of cellular degradation within the nerve and a carrier adapted to reduce dissemination of the active pharmacological ingredient beyond the site at which its effect is intended.

SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR FLUID DELIVERY
The invention provides for a delivery system including a delivery assembly configured to allow delivery of a single dose of a therapeutic agent (e.g., vaccine, drug, medicament, etc.) from a Blow-Fill-Seal (BFS) vial to a patient.
The delivery assembly generally includes a modular design consisting of separately constructed components cooperatively arranged and coupled to one another. The modular construction allows for rapid manufacturing reconfigurations of one or more components with minimal costs to create new delivery assembly configurations that meet specific needs (i.e., different modes of delivery depending on agent to be delivered, such as subcutaneous, intramuscular, intradermal, intravenous injection, spray, or droplet delivery). The delivery assembly is generally configured to be filled on-site and in the field and is further capable of delivery of the agent in a controlled manner and without requiring specialized skill in administering delivery of such agent.
