Drug injection device
A cartridge adapter includes: a cartridge holder having a space that can accommodate therein a drug cartridge, the drug cartridge including a cylinder having a tubular internal space extending in a longitudinal direction, a gasket supported in the internal space so as to be movable in the longitudinal direction, and a drug held in the internal space; a piston that moves the gasket in the longitudinal direction in the internal space of the cylinder; a piston guide that movably supports the piston and connected to the cartridge holder; and a piston driving mechanism that drives the piston in the longitudinal direction.
SYSTEM FOR A DRUG DELIVERY DEVICE AND DRUG DELIVERY DEVICE
The present disclosure refers to a system for a drug delivery device comprising a housing and a cartridge holder which may contain a cartridge filled with a medicament. The housing and the cartridge holder comprise a coding interface for dedicating a certain cartridge to a certain housing and a bayonet type attachment interface for releasably attaching the cartridge holder to the housing by an attachment movement comprising a first stage and a second stage. The system further comprises at least one compliant spring member arranged and designed such that it is strained during the first and/or the second stage of the attachment movement at least if the housing coding element does not match the holder coding element, and wherein the compliant spring member is arranged and designed to move the cartridge holder relative to the housing in a direction contrary to the attachment movement when relaxing.
Medicament delivery device
A medicament delivery device is presented having a medicament container having an attached medicament delivery member; a housing where the medicament container is movable between a retracted and an extended position in which the medicament delivery member extends from the housing; a drive unit that advances the medicament container from its retracted position to its extended position to expel the contents through the medicament delivery member; and a medicament container holder for carrying the medicament container as it is advanced, the medicament container holder having a proximal end through which the medicament delivery member extends and a holding member releasably connected to the drive unit and attached to the medicament container holder. The holding member has a biasing element having a resilient structure in the form of a tubular wall provided with slots extending in the generally circumferential direction arranged to bias the medicament container in the proximal direction in the medicament container holder.
NEEDLE PROTECTION DEVICE COMPRISING SYRINGE CENTRING FEATURES AND DISASSEMBLY LOCK
A safety device for a syringe is described. The safety device includes a housing having a main body that receives a syringe, a flange support that supports a flange of the syringe, and prevents or limits distal movement of the syringe relative to the housing, a needle shield including a sleeve telescopically arranged with respect to the housing such that the needle shield can slide over the housing between an extended position in which a needle tip is covered and a retracted position in which the needle tip is exposed. The device also includes syringe centering features and/or a disassembly lock.
A MEDICAMENT CONTAINER SUPPORT ASSEMBLY
A support assembly for a medicament container of a medicament delivery device is provided with a container support member having a proximal end and a distal end and configured to partially receive a medicament container, a deformable member arranged between a distal portion of the container support element and the proximal end of a flange of the medicament container, a rear support member arranged to be moved in contact with the distal end of the flange of the medicament container; where the deformable member is deformed by a clamping force generated by the container support member and the flange of the medicament container, such that the deformation of the deformable member is configured to compensate an engineering tolerance of the medicament delivery device.
MEDICAMENT DELIVERY DEVICE COMPONENT
Medicament delivery device components that compensate for manufacturing tolerances are presented, where the medicament delivery device component can have a base portion extending in an axial direction relative to an axis, a compensation member having a first portion attached to the base portion and a second portion attached to the first portion and spaced apart from the base portion in the axial direction. The second portion can have a disc extending around the axis in the circumferential direction and a protrusion extending from the disc in the axial direction, wherein the protrusion is spaced apart from the first portion in the circumferential direction. At least part of the disc is configured to flex relative to the base portion when acted on by a force in the axial direction.
HOUSING ELEMENT AND DRUG DELIVERY DEVICE HEREWITH
The present disclosure refers to a housing element for a drug delivery device. The housing element comprises longitudinal axis and defines an interior space for receiving components of a drive mechanism of the drug delivery device and at least a portion of a cartridge of the drug delivery device. The housing element comprises an engagement feature for axially constraining the housing element to a cartridge holder of the drug delivery device. In order to constrain the cartridge in the housing element, it further comprises at least one crush web protruding radially inwards into the interior space. The at least one crush web is angled relative to the longitudinal axis of the housing element by at least 3° such that when the cartridge is introduced into the interior space the at least one crush web folds radially outwards.
CARPOULE HOLDER FOR RECEIVING A CARPOULE AND FASTENING TO A DRIVE MECHANISM AND/OR METERING MECHANISM AND/OR HOUSING OF AN INJECTION DEVICE
The invention relates to a carpoule holder (8) for receiving a carpoule (10) and for fastening to a drive mechanism and/or to a dosing mechanism and/or to a housing (6) of an injection device, with a holding element (9, 9′, 9″) for fastening the carpoule (10) to or in the carpoule holder (8), wherein the holding element (9, 9′, 9″) is designed in such a way that it can be connected to the carpoule holder (8) and can be received completely by the carpoule holder (8).
DRUG INJECTION DEVICE WITH RESETTABLE MECHANISM ALLOWING PISTON ROD RETRACTION UPON DRUG CARTRIDGE CHANGE
A drug delivery device for selecting and dispensing a number of user variable doses of a medicament. The device comprises a housing, a dose setting element rotatable relative to the housing during dose setting and dose dispensing, a drive member coupled to the dose setting member via a clutch, and a piston rod coupled to the housing and to the drive member Further, the device further comprises a cartridge holder removably attached to the housing and a reset element, which is permanently rotationally constrained to the housing and rotationally constrained to the drive member during dose setting, and at least one spring acting on the reset element, such that, if the cartridge holder is detached from the housing, the reset element is axially moved relative to the housing into a position in which the drive member is allowed to rotate relative to the housing
