Self Injectable, Pre-Filled Syringes, Vials and Combinations Thereof
A syringe for injecting liquid medicine into a body, having its needle inside said syringe liquid holding barrel, pointed at one end of the syringe barrel which rests on user's skin when injecting, which end is sealed to hold the liquid inside the barrel of said syringe by a rubber like seal, through which seal said needle's sharp tip can exit when the needle is pressed towards the body via the other end of the barrel, which needle has conduit(s) near the other end of the needle to let said liquid into the inner tube of the needle to exit via said tip when the liquid is pressured as the needle is pushed into the user's body, which syringe can be prefilled during manufacturing, so that the syringe acts as a vial too, enabling self administration upon unpacking.
Auto injector with cartridge locking system
An auto injector for administering injection of a medicament from a cartridge containing the medicament, includes a housing, a cartridge receiver with a cartridge receiver compartment configured to receive a cartridge assembly including at least one cartridge retention member when the cartridge assembly is inserted through a cartridge receiver opening along a longitudinal axis in a receiving direction, an elongated ejector including an ejector support face for supporting the cartridge or the cartridge assembly and a longitudinal ejector slot extending towards the ejector support face from an ejector rest portion, wherein the elongated ejector is suspended to move along the longitudinal direction and is spring-loaded in the direction opposite of the receiving direction, and an ejector lock supported for turning at least a fraction of a revolution and maintained in a longitudinal position relative to the housing.
ASSEMBLY, CASSETTE AND MEDICAMENT DELIVERY DEVICE
An assembly for receiving a medicament container having a container carrier extending along a longitudinal axis, the container carrier having a carrier body, and a flexible carrier arm extending from the carrier body substantially parallel with the longitudinal axis; and a rotator comprising a hollow rotator body and a through hole which extends substantially parallel with the longitudinal axis, wherein the container carrier is arranged to receive the rotator such that the carrier arm extends through the through hole, and wherein the rotator is arranged to rotate about the longitudinal axis and relative to the container carrier. A cassette and a medicament delivery device are also provided.
AUTO INJECTOR WITH CARTRIDGE LOCKING SYSTEM
An auto injector (4) for administering injection of a medicament from a cartridge containing the medicament, the auto injector (4) comprising: a housing (6); a cartridge receiver (300) with a cartridge receiver compartment (302) configured to receive a cartridge assembly (600), with at least one cartridge retention member (808), when inserted through a cartridge receiver opening (301) along a longitudinal axis (L) in a receiving direction; wherein the cartridge receiver (300) has a passage (316) through which the at least one cartridge retention member (808) travels at least in the receiving direction, and a member (312) preventing movement beyond a retention position in a direction opposite of the receiving direction; an elongated ejector (200) that is configured with: an ejector support face (204) for supporting the cartridge or cartridge assembly (600), a longitudinal ejector slot (228) extending towards the ejector support face (204) from an ejector rest portion (206); wherein the elongated ejector (200) is suspended to move along the longitudinal direction and is spring-loaded in the direction opposite of the receiving direction; and an ejector lock (212) supported for turning at least a fraction of a revolution and maintained in a longitudinal position relative to the housing (6); wherein the ejector lock (212) has a ejector lock support portion (214) that is configured to align with and slide along the longitudinal ejector slot (228) at a first angle and to be brought to align with the ejector rest portion (206) at a second angle.
Injection Device
The present disclosure refers to an injection device including a housing containing a dose setting mechanism, a cartridge holder containing a cartridge with a medicament, and a heat shrinkable label which includes information and/or symbols about the medicament. The injection device is a disposable injection device with the cartridge holder inseparably locked to the housing. The heat shrinkable label is heat shrunk on the housing and the cartridge holder such that it at least partially covers the housing and the cartridge holder.
CARPOULE HOLDER FOR RECEIVING A CARPOULE AND FASTENING TO A DRIVE MECHANISM AND/OR METERING MECHANISM AND/OR HOUSING OF AN INJECTION DEVICE
The invention relates to a carpoule holder (8) for receiving a carpoule (10) and for fastening to a drive mechanism and/or to a dosing mechanism and/or to a housing (6) of an injection device, with a holding element (9, 9′, 9″) for fastening the carpoule (10) to or in the carpoule holder (8), wherein the holding element (9, 9′, 9″) is designed in such a way that it can be connected to the carpoule holder (8) and can be received completely by the carpoule holder (8).
Medicament delivery device
A medicament delivery device includes a distal housing part; a proximal housing part for a container; a drive mechanism in the distal housing part that includes a plunger rod; and an auto mixing mechanism. The housing parts are movable from a first position, in which the housing parts are partially extended relative to each other, to a second position, in which the housing parts are partially retracted relative to each other. The auto mixing mechanism is configured to hold the housing parts in the first position and to lock the housing parts in the second position, and includes a mixing force member operably arranged between the housing parts such that manual activation of the auto mixing mechanism enables the mixing force member to cause the housing parts to move from the first position to the second position. The plunger rod acts to mixing a medicament in the container.
Cartridge holder assembly for drug delivery device
A cartridge holder assembly is provided, comprising an enclosed cartridge, a distal portion and a proximal portion. The enclosed cartridge defines a longitudinal axis and comprises a generally cylindrical main portion, a distal outlet portion having a neck portion with a circumferential shoulder portion, and a proximal portion having an opening surrounded by a circumferential rim. The distal portion comprises a distal support structure engaging the cartridge neck portion and being adapted to support the cartridge against movement in the distal direction, and the proximal portion comprises a proximal support structure engaging the cartridge circumferential rim and being adapted to support the cartridge against movement in the proximal direction. The proximal support structure is essentially non-deformed, and the distal support structure engaging the cartridge neck portion is plastically deformed.
