The present invention provides a method for treating an ocular disease or condition in a subject, comprising administering to the subject’s ocular tissue a composition comprising an effective amount of one or more bioactive agents, wherein the composition is administered with a single-chamber or multi-chamber microchannel delivery device.
Assembly for an autoinjector device
An assembly for an autoinjector device, the assembly including a syringe support for supporting a syringe by limiting forward axial movement of the syringe relative to the syringe support, and a guard element attachable to the syringe support by an attachment so that the guard element is axially restrained both axially forwardly and axially rearwardly relative to the syringe support by the attachment. Forwardly directed axial loads received by the guard element are transmitted to the syringe support via the attachment.
AUTOINJECTOR WITH DISCHARGE DETECTION
An autoinjector includes a housing, a product container, a torsion spring, a drive element, and a propulsion element. In order to discharge liquid out of the product container, the torsion spring rotates the drive element, and the rotating drive element produces a propulsive movement of the propulsion element and of a piston in the product container. A rotation sensor is configured for an alternating continuous detection of at least two rotational positions per revolution of the drive element during the discharge process, and a processor unit is configured for determining the axial position of the piston in the product container from the detected rotational positions.
Exchangeable cartridge for an injection device
An exchangeable cartridge for an injection device is disclosed. The cartridge (3) comprises a container (4) and a plunger (10) connectable with a plunger rod (9). The container receives the plunger rod from its rear end. The plunger comprises a rod connector (12) connectable with a front portion (13), and the rod connector has a base portion (24), an outer wall section (15), an inner wall section (16), and a rod stop portion (17) encircled by the inner wall section. The inner wall section comprises several tongues (22) protruding rearwards from the base portion and defining an entrance opening (18) for the plunger rod. The inner wall section receives a front portion (13) of the plunger rod through the entrance, and the tongues are provided with retaining portions arranged to retain the front end portion during retraction of the plunger rod within the housing.
PROTECTED STERILE INJECTOR WITH READY ISOTONIC
A protected sterile injector with ready isotonic sodium chloride which provides drug dilution and administration in patient treatment services, contains isotonic sodium chloride liquid, includes at least one chamber having a hole for the medicament outlet, a piston connected to the chamber, ajutage that is located on the upper part of the chamber hole, and which is the part that allows for attachable-detachable use and is suitable for the use of different needle tips, a gasket which is connected to the upper part of the piston in the chamber, separating the liquid in the chamber and the empty space, at least one needle tip located in the outermost part of the chamber, a clamp connected to the outer part of the piston that prevents the involuntary outflow of the liquid in the chamber by preventing the movement of the piston and ensuring the controlled use of the liquid.
MEDICAMENT DELIVERY DEVICE
A medicament delivery device is presented having a front-end device with a front-end housing and a delivery member cover that moves along a longitudinal axis between an extended position and a retracted position relative to the front-end housing, and a medicament container holder arranged in the front-end housing that receives a medicament container; and a reusable base device that is detachably connected to the front-end device, the base device has a plunger, a motor to drive the plunger inside the front-end housing, and wherein the motor drives the plunger from a second end position back to an initial end position, and a motor switch having a first switch position that changes to a default switch position by displacement of the delivery member cover when the delivery member cover is moved back from a retracted position to an extended position causing the motor to rotate in a reverse direction and drive the plunger from the second end position to the initial end position.
ADMINISTRATION MECHANISM FOR A MEDICAMENT DELIVERY DEVICE
A medicament delivery device is presented having a proximal disposable part arranged with a body and a delivery member cover telescopically arranged in relation to the body wherein the proximal disposable part is configured to receive a medicament container. A distal reusable power pack is detachably arranged with the proximal disposable part such that the delivery member cover has an extension position in which the delivery member cover is extended in the proximal direction to cover a medicament delivery member of the medicament container, and a retraction position in which the delivery member cover is retracted in the distal direction to expose said medicament delivery member. The distal reusable power pack can have a power unit, a rotational drive unit and a plunger unit, where the rotational drive unit is powered by the power unit and is configured to move the plunger unit upon being triggered.
MULTI-DOSE DISPENSER
A multi-dose injector comprising an inner housing (16) and an outer housing (12), the inner housing (16) being movable within the outer housing for a defined distance, a plunger rod (20) comprising a shaft (66) mounted within the inner housing (16) the shaft (66) having a plurality of spaced apart teeth (68) formed thereon, an actuator (22) located at one end of the shaft (66), the inner housing (16) having at least one pawl (70) arranged to engage with the teeth (68), a syringe (74) mounted interiorly of the inner housing (16), the syringe being arranged such that the shaft engages with a plunger within the syringe, and a spring member (18), the spring member (18) being biased between the inner housing (16) and the outer housing (12).
Device for injecting a liquid product having simplified assembly
A part of a device for injecting a liquid product having an end sleeve and a syringe support which is able to move with respect to the end sleeve. The syringe support is designed to bear an injection syringe fitted with a removable protective cap. A deformable ring is kinematically connected to the syringe support. This ring can be deformed elastically between a configuration which is designed to axially immobilize the injection syringe in the syringe support, and a configuration designed to allow the protective cap to pass through the deformable ring.
Supplemental Device for Attachment to an Injection Device
A supplemental device for attachment to an injection device, the supplemental device comprising: a housing; an electromechanical switch arrangement having an open state and a closed state, the electromechanical switch arrangement comprising a protrusion configured to contact a surface of the injection device while the supplemental device is attached to the injection device; a dose dialled detector operable to detect a dose of medicament dialled into the attached injection device; and a processor arrangement configured to: monitor the detected dose of medicament dialled into the attached injection device; detect a change in the state of the electromechanical switch arrangement; and change a display output of the supplemental device when a change in the state of the electromechanical switch arrangement is detected while a zero dose is dialled into the attached injection device.
