NEEDLE COVER AND SAFETY NEEDLE ASSEMBLY INCLUDING SAME
A needle cover including: a mounting portion for mounting a needle; and a lid portion hingedly connected to the mounting portion, the lid portion movable to: an open position; a first cover position, wherein the lid portion is releasably docked with the mounting portion; and a second cover position, wherein the lid portion is irreversibly docked with the mounting portion, wherein the mounting portion and the lid portion include corresponding docking elements that engage to provide the first and second cover positions.
Safety needle assembly
The present invention is directed to a safety needle assembly having the high safety and high operability, comprising: a hub; a cannula; a collar; a protector; and a sheath. The sheath includes an opening of housing the cannula; a cannula fixing part of locking the cannula housed in the opening; an attachment part of rotatably supporting the sheath attached to the hub or the collar; and a protrusive stopper which a user pushes by a finger to pivot the sheath thereby to house the cannula in the opening of the sheath. Herein, the stopper is arranged at a vicinity of a central portion of the sheath in a longitudinal direction at the opposite side of the aperture of the opening, or arranged at a portion closer to a distal end side than the central portion of the sheath.
PROTECTIVE DEVICE FOR THE NEEDLE TUBE OF A SYRINGE
A protective device for the needle tube of a syringe, including a housing which can be pivoted on a support base which has an open housing side in the pivot plane, so that the needle tube can be pivoted into the housing after being used for injection and wherein on the housing side, a retaining device is provided for the needle tube which has been pivoted inwards. The invention proposes that in addition to the connection of a film hinge in order to form a pivot axis, the support base and the pivotable housing are additionally connected together via a predetermined breaking point and wherein after being used for injection, the housing can be pivoted back over the destroyed predetermined breaking point.
SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR PRE-FILLED MEDICAL DELIVERY ASSEMBLIES
A pre-filled medical delivery assembly assembled and configured to allow delivery of a single dose of a therapeutic agent (e.g., vaccine, drug, medicament, etc.) from a Blow-Fill-Seal (BFS) vial to a patient. The delivery assembly generally includes a modular design consisting of separately constructed components cooperatively arranged and coupled to one another.
Needle assembly
A needle assembly for percutaneously infusing fluids to a body and/or withdrawing fluids from a body is provided. The needle assembly comprises a polymeric body having a passageway in a proximodistal direction. A wing assembly is secured to the body, and the wing assembly including first and second wings extending laterally in opposite directions from said body. A hollow needle is arranged in said passageway, such that it extends distally from said body, wherein said needle is press fitted or interference fitted in said passageway.
Intradermal needle, packaging article thereof, and injection device
In an intradermal needle including a tubular needle that can be punctured into a living body, a packaging article, and an injection device, a pivotable protector is provided to a wide diameter part. The protector has an arm that can pivot around an axle of pivoting, and a lid. The pivoting axle part is provided to the wide diameter part, and the lid is formed to give a width smaller than a diameter of the wide diameter part. The arm keeps the lid in the open position away from the pivoting axle part and closer to an axis of the needle hub.
NEEDLE HUB
A needle hub including a core mounting structur, first and second panels each connected to the core mounting structure with an opening formed between the first panel and the second panel, and an introducer needle fixedly attached to the core mounting structure; a first actuation lever disposed within the opening, cantilevered at a central portion thereof from the core mounting structure that has a first actuation button disposed at a proximal free end and a first needle hub latch disposed at a distal free end. A needle tip shield is rotatably connected to one of the first and second panels and rotatable from a first position in which a distal end of the introducer needle is exposed to a second position shielding the distal end of the introducer needle.
Drug delivery device with restricted cap replacement
The present disclosure relates to a drug delivery device that has a housing and a cap. The drug delivery device also has a lock that prevents the cap being fully replaced on the housing after the cap has been removed.
Needle assembly and needle device having same
This needle assembly is provided with a needle having a needle tip, a needle hub, and a protector. The protector is displaceable between a non-protection position at which the needle is exposed and a protection position at which the needle tip is covered; has an opening formed elongated to match the needle, and includes a main body and a claw-like portion. The needle enters the main body from the opening to cover the needle tip when the protector is displaced to the protection position. The claw-like portion is bent by the needle when the protector is displaced to the protection position, allows the needle to advance into the main body, and is elastically restored to lock the needle when the needle enters the main body. The claw-like portion projects obliquely from the main body, extends across the opening in the width direction, and extends in the longitudinal direction.
Auto-injection device
The present application discloses a device that is designed to inject into a user medicinal or non-medical substance upon activation. The device is light and compact, suitable for wearing or carrying by a user. The device comprises a needle, a syringe, and two sets of springs. The syringe comprises a plunger and a chamber for storing an injection substance. The needle is configured to be coaxial and in communication with the syringe. Each set of springs may comprise one or more springs. The first set of springs is configured to push the needle and the second set of springs is configured to move the plunger. In one exemplary embodiment, the device is enclosed in a sealed case and the device may be made to resemble a watch.
