BED HAVING FEATURES FOR CONTROLLING HEATING OF A BED TO REDUCE HEALTH RISK OF A SLEEPER
Temperature sensors are configured to sense a temperature for the sleeper and transmit temperature readings. A controller is configured to receive temperature readings; and send to a heating subsystem instructions to initiate a warming process that raises a distal temperature of the sleeper more than a proximal temperature of the sleeper. The heating subsystem that may include a heating element that, when engaged, can raise the distal temperature of the sleeper more than the proximal temperature of the sleeper.
MEDICAL TOOL AIDING DIAGNOSED PSYCHOSIS PATIENTS IN DETECTING AUDITORY PSYCHOSIS SYMPTOMS ASSOCIATED WITH PSYCHOSIS
A medical tool is described for supporting an individual suffering from a mental condition or disorder characterized by auditory psychosis symptoms. The tool can assist in training the individual to distinguish between an acute auditory psychosis episode and ambient sounds. The tool can monitor for a non-audio input by a patient, where the input represents an indication that the patient is hearing sounds potentially symptomatic of psychosis. A microphone can monitor ambient sounds, which are tested against a threshold to determine and whether an auditory psychosis episode may be occurring.
DIAGNOSIS AND TREATMENT FOR OSA-RELATED BRUXISM
A method and system for diagnosing, treating, and ameliorating sleep bruxism events using a positive airway pressure (PAP) system for treating obstructive sleep apnea to concurrently recognize bruxism events. At least one sensor is integrated into a therapy interface and/or headgear to detect physiological signals indicative of bruxism. In some exemplary embodiments, a loudspeaker and microphone are integrated into the interface, either near the nose or near the mouth of the patient. When integrated near the nose, the pair is used for acoustical rhinometry, and when integrated near the mouth, the pair is used for acoustical pharyngometry. In other exemplary embodiments, sound or vibration sensors are used to detect signals indicative of teeth grinding. In response to sensor detection of bruxism activity, the PAP system controller adjusts the PAP therapy settings or proposes alternative treatment modalities in order to stop or prevent bruxism events.
SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR REDUCING INSOMNIA-RELATED SYMPTOMS
A system includes a memory storing a user profile for a user of the system and machine-readable instructions and a control system including one or more processors configured to execute the machine-readable instructions to receive physiological data associated with the user during a sleep session, determine, based at least in part on the received physiological data, a set of sleep-related parameters for the sleep session, subsequent to the sleep session, select one of the set of sleep-related parameters as a targeted parameter, the selection of the targeted parameter being based at least in part on the stored user profile, the set of sleep-related parameters, or both, and cause information to be communicated to the user via a user device, the information being indicative of the targeted parameter, a recommendation associated with improving the targeted parameter for the user in one or more subsequent sleep sessions, or both.
MULTI-SENSORY, ASSISTIVE WEARABLE TECHNOLOGY, AND METHOD OF PROVIDING SENSORY RELIEF USING SAME
A system and method for providing sensory relief from distractibility, inattention, anxiety, fatigue, and/or sensory issues to a user in need. The user can be autistic/neurodiverse, or neurotypical. The system can be configured to connect to a datastore storing one or more sensory thresholds specific to a user of a wearable device of the system, the sensory thresholds selected from auditory, visual or physiological sensory thresholds; record, using one or more sensors of the wearable device, a sensory input stimulus to the user; compare the sensory input stimulus with the sensory thresholds to determine an intervention to be provided to the user, the intervention configured to provide the user relief from distractibility, inattention, anxiety, fatigue, or sensory issues; and provide the intervention to the user, the intervention comprising filtering, in real-time, an audio signal presented to the user or an optical signal presented to the user.
Brain stimulation system, method and apparatus based on artificial intelligence and storage medium
Provided are a brain stimulation system, method, apparatus and storage medium based on artificial intelligence. The system includes: a plurality of brain stimulation terminals and a cloud platform. The cloud platform is configured to, with artificial intelligence algorithm especially machine learning and deep learning, generate multi-dimensional psychological big data using physiological data and psychological state evaluation parameters gotten from the plurality of brain stimulation terminals and established models of algorithm for disease diagnosis. The brain stimulation terminal is configured to analyze the physiological data and psychological state evaluation parameters of a target subject, measure a mental state of the target subject, obtain brain stimulation parameters required for the target subject according to the mental state, and generate corresponding non-invasive brain stimulation for the target subject according to the brain stimulation parameters based on the multi-dimensional big data through the artificial intelligence algorithm.
Hypnotherapy system utilizing an interactive doll and method of hypnotherapy for children
The present invention relates in general to the field of hypnotherapy, and more specifically, to a hypnotherapy system for children that utilizes an interactive doll connected to a website and/or downloadable computer software application (“app”), and a method of hypnotherapy for children using the system. One aspect of the present disclosure includes an interactive doll that is configured to play a variety of hypnosis scripts to the child through an audio playback device. The hypnosis scripts may be downloaded to the audio playback device through the connected website/app, wherein the hypnosis scripts are directed to address particular behavioral or emotional issues in the child. The purpose of the invention is to provide a hypnotherapy system and method of hypnotherapy for children that may be conveniently administered to the child in a safe and familiar environment, such as in the child's home or bedroom, without requiring the presence of a hypnotherapist. An additional purpose of the invention is to provide a hypnotherapy system and method of hypnotherapy for children that utilizes an interactive doll that is comforting to the child and that helps retain the attention and focus of the child during a hypnosis session.
DEVICE FOR DISPENSING A FLUID PRODUCT
A device for dispensing a fluid product, having a body (1) and a dispensing head (2) with a dispensing orifice (3) and axially movable. The body receives a vessel (10) containing one or two doses of product. The device has an electronic module (100) with a wireless communication module (101), a geographical location module (102), and a power source (103). The device has a sensor system (201, 202) for detecting and automatically signalling an attempt to use the device, the sensor system having a first sensor (201) arranged on the dispensing head (2) and a second sensor (202) on the body, the sensor system detecting handling representative of an attempt to use the device when the first and second sensors (201, 202) are activated simultaneously, the wireless communication module designed to make an automatic emergency call when the sensor system detects handling representative of an attempt to use the device.
