System and methods for fluid delivery
A system for at least partial closed-loop control of a medical condition is disclosed. The system includes at least one medical fluid pump. The medical fluid pump including a sensor for determining the volume of fluid pumped by the pump. Also, at least one continuous analyte monitor, and a controller. The controller is in communication with the medical fluid pump and the at least one continuous analyte monitor. The controller includes a processor. The processor includes instructions for delivery of medical fluid based at least on data received from the at least one continuous analyte monitor.
VIRTUAL REALITY AND AUGMENTED REALITY HEADSETS FOR MEDITATION APPLICATIONS
A virtual reality and augmented reality system configured for meditation applications including a headset comprising an adjustable strap and a display. The headset further includes heating and cooling elements to provide an immersive virtual reality environment to a wearer. The virtual reality system is operable to determine the physiological condition of the wearer and adjust the virtual reality environment based on the physiological condition of the wearer.
APPARATUS, SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR FLUID DELIVERY
A fill adapter system for an infusion pump assembly. The system includes a reusable fill adapter base, the base including a volume control mechanism to adjust an available fill volume of a reservoir of the infusion pump assembly and a pump mechanism configured to pump air into a fluid vial. The system also includes a vial adapter assembly including a first needle configured to penetrate a septum of the fluid vial for fluidly coupling the pump mechanism to the fluid vial and a second needle having a first end configured to penetrate the septum of the fluid vial and a second end configured to penetrate a septum of the reservoir of the infusion pump assembly to allow transfer of fluid from the fluid vial to the reservoir of the infusion pump assembly in response to air being pumped into the fluid vial and a needle carriage adapted to carry the first needle and the second needle, wherein the needle carriage slidably attached to the interior of the vial adapter assembly, wherein the needle carriage adapted to slide from a vial end of the vial adapter to a receptacle end of the vial adapter.
Apparatus, system and method for fluid delivery
A filling aid device for filling a reservoir. The device includes a cover portion comprising a septum window; a slider beam comprising a septum cover; and a first filling aid tab attached to the slider beam, the first filling aid tab in slidable relation to the cover from a first position to a second position, wherein when the filling aid device is in an unlocked position, the septum cover is located below the septum window, wherein when the first filling aid tab is moved from the first position to the second position, the septum cover is moved from below the septum window, and the filling aid device is in the locked position.
Blood glucose control system switching without interruption of therapy delivery
Systems and methods are disclosed herein for switching an application executing on an ambulatory medical device to a new application without interrupting therapy provided by the ambulatory medical device to a subject. The ambulatory medical device may receive an indication that an update to an application executing on the ambulatory insulin pump is available, establish a communication connection to a host computing system, download and install the application update, while a prior version of the application continues to run. The disclosed systems and methods can confirm successful installation of the application update on the ambulatory medical device and switch control of the ambulatory medical device from the prior version to the new version of the application without interrupting therapy provided to the subject.
SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR FLUID DELIVERY MANIFOLDS
A fluid delivery manifold system assembled and configured to allow delivery of a single dose of a therapeutic agent (e.g., vaccine, drug, medicament, etc.) from a Blow-Fill-Seal (BFS) vial to a patient. The delivery assembly generally includes a modular manifold design consisting of separately constructed components cooperatively arranged and coupled to one another. The modular manifold construction allows for rapid manufacturing reconfigurations of one or more components with minimal costs to create new delivery manifold configurations that meet specific needs (i.e., different modes of delivery depending on agent to be delivered, such as subcutaneous, intramuscular, intradermal, intravenous injection, spray, or droplet delivery).
Pumping fluid delivery systems and methods using force application assembly
A method of dispensing a therapeutic fluid from a line includes providing an inlet line connectable to an upstream fluid source. The inlet line is in downstream fluid communication with a pumping chamber. The pumping chamber has a pump outlet. The method also includes actuating a force application assembly so as to restrict retrograde flow of fluid through the inlet while pressurizing the pumping chamber to urge flow through the pump outlet. A corresponding system employs the method.
APPARATUS AND METHOD TO STIMULATE CREATIVITY VIA COLOR PALETTE TRANSITIONS IN A VIRTUAL SKY PROJECTED IN A DIGITAL SPACE WITH A COLLECTION OF GAZE POINTS EXPERIENCING CYCLICAL SIZE CHANGES
A method includes projecting a dark virtual sky in a digital space. The dark virtual sky is transitioned to a dawn virtual sky. The dawn virtual sky is altered to introduce a daytime virtual sky. The daytime virtual sky is modified to produce a dusk virtual sky. These operations are performed via color palette transitions in the virtual sky in a time period of less than six minutes. A collection of gaze points in the digital space includes an apex gaze point, a left descendent gaze point and a right descendent gaze point. The apex gaze point maintains a constant size, the left descendent gaze point has a first oscillation sequence that fluctuates between a minimum size, a medium size and a maximum size. The right descendent gaze point has a second oscillation sequence that fluctuates between a maximum size, a medium size and a minimum size during the time period of less than six minutes.
APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR MITIGATING THE EFFECTS OF TRAVEL LAG VIA COLOR PALETTE TRANSITIONS IN A VIRTUAL SKY PROJECTED IN A DIGITAL SPACE
A method includes initiating an accelerated daily light and darkness cycle experience at a first color palette position within the accelerated daily light and darkness cycle that corresponds to a current time at a destination geographic location that a user will travel to. The accelerated daily light and darkness cycle experience is executed at a second color palette position within the accelerated daily light and darkness cycle that corresponds to the current time at the destination geographic location of the user. The accelerated daily light and darkness cycle is less than six minutes and includes projecting a dark virtual sky in a digital space, transitioning the dark virtual sky to a dawn virtual sky in the digital space, altering the dawn virtual sky to introduce a daytime virtual sky in the digital space and modifying the daytime virtual sky to produce a dusk virtual sky in the digital space.
