A handheld tattoo device comprises an elongated body comprising a grip section and an upper section above the grip section. The grip section comprises a coupling end configured to removably couple with a needle module comprising one or more needles. The upper section comprises a needle actuator for actuating the one or more needles through a shaft extending through the grip section, and a battery power source for supplying electrical power to the needle actuator. The device also comprises a user interface on the upper section, the user interface comprising a display and a touch sensor for detecting finger gestures of a user; and a control circuitry in the upper section for controlling the power supplied to the actuator by the battery power source based on user input received through the user interface.
Volume control device for manually operated resuscitator and ventilation apparatus and method of use
A resuscitation bag (bag valve mask resuscitator or BVM or BVMR) or other similar ventilation device (for example: anesthesia bag) includes a structure that allows a selectable, and repeatable volume be delivered to patients. The reservoir of the BVMR is formed from elastic, gastight material in the form of an elongated hollow body, with an essentially circular cross section. A range of motion control (ROMC) structure controls, or selectively limits the range of motion or collapse of the elastic bag to limit or control the volume expelled from the bag to the patient.
ADAPTER FOR MEDICAL CONNECTORS
An adapter for making a fluid connection between first and second medical fluid flow components, where the first component includes a first male or female Luer connector of a first configuration, and the component includes a second male female Luer connector of a second configuration, that is not compatible with the first configuration, includes a fluid flow conduit with a first adapter connector at a first end of the conduit and a second adapter connector at a second end of the conduit. The conduit includes a fluid flow lumen extending between the first and second ends. The first adapter connector is a male or female Luer having a first configuration that is compatible with the first medical fluid flow component connector. The second adapter connector is a male or female Luer having a second configuration that is compatible with the second medical fluid flow component connector.
Automatic injection devices having overmolded gripping surfaces
Exemplary embodiments provide automatic injection devices, housing components for automatic injection devices and methods for fabricating the same. An exemplary housing of an automatic injection device may be overmolded with one or more gripping surfaces to facilitate gripping and manipulation of the automatic injection device by a user when performing an injection. In an exemplary embodiment, an overmolded left gripping surface may extend along a left side of the housing and an overmolded right gripping surface may extend along a right side of the housing opposite to the left side.
Adapter for single-handed operation of syringe during aspiration operation
An adapter for single-handed operation of a syringe includes a clip having a pair of arcuate legs that straddle at least half of an outer diameter of a barrel of a syringe, the clip having an upper opening. The adapter also includes an integrated structure including an extension spine that extends in an axial direction and outside of the barrel of the syringe, a forward flange disposed at a first end of the extension spine and having arcuate legs that straddle at least half of the outer diameter of the barrel of the syringe, and a support that that is disposed on an opposite end of the extension spine and is positioned adjacent to a thumb press of a plunger rod of the syringe.
Infusion set
A system for providing the collection of advanced, improved, and novel new components and elements in a single package to simplify assembly and use of the infusion set by the user, including one or more of an exemplary pushbutton-type inserter, squeeze-type inserter, contact-type inserter, skin pinching-type inserter, folding retraction-type inserter, and/or multistage-type inserter (700) having at least one reusable stage, an exemplary set (350) having an adhesion means with two or more user-selectable degrees of adhesion strength, a self-sealing tube connection means, a lens feature to view a site beneath the set, exemplary tube management and connection elements (450), insulin supply (475), adhesion concealment means (500), finger loops on the inserter and site preparation wipes or sprays (550) which can be provided as part of the inserter. The system can further include an exemplary package (12) which can hold a number of sets that can be easily released and retrieved from the tray by an inserter, an exemplary insertion needle handle and shroud, an exemplary squeeze-type latch between an upper portion and a lower portion of the set, and/or a tool removable upper portion of the set.
Assisted walking device and method of use
The inventive concepts disclosed and claimed herein are generally directed to an improved assisted walking device, such as a cane, walker or wheelchair, that includes an integrated oxygen concentrator housed within the assisted walking device. In some embodiments, for example, the improved assisted walking device includes a handle, a control pad, an elongated housing having an interior chamber, an oxygen concentrator, a leg member and a foot member. The oxygen concentrator detachably positioned within the interior chamber of the elongated housing and including an adsorption system configured to generate a flow of oxygen enriched gas, a compressor that includes a motor, a battery, a plurality of sieve beds configured to extract oxygen-enriched gas from ambient air, and a controller in communication with the control pad.
A REFILL FOR AN INHALER PARTICULARLY A CANNABINOID INHALER
A refill for an inhaler, the refill including a cylinder with an axis and containing a pressurised inhalable composition. An outlet valve at one end has a hollow valve stem extending axially from the cylinder. A cap is fitted onto the cylinder at the outlet end and extends axially beyond the valve stem. The cap has an internal passage extending through the cap to allow access to the valve stem. The internal passage provides a guide wall to guide the inhaler onto the stem during the refill process.
