Method and system of remote control and remote monitor in treating respiratory patients
11594331 · 2023-02-28 · ·

Embodiments provide an oxygen supply device having multiple operational states including a first state and a second state. In the first state, the oxygen supply device is controllable to a local control instruction such that the oxygen supply device can be operated by a user physically located within a proximity of the oxygen supply device. In the second state, the oxygen supply device is only controllable to a remote-control instruction such that the oxygen supply device can be operated by a user remote to the oxygen supply device. For example, the user can be located in an office remote to a location of the oxygen supply device, which, for example, may be placed at a patient's home. In the second state, the user is enabled to control the oxygen supply device from a device associated with the user in the remote location.

Smart relaxation mask

Aspects of the present disclosure provide a smart relaxation mask configured to output a stimulus and collect biometric information while the stimulus is output to determine if the subject is paying attention to the stimulus. If the subject is not focused on the stimulus, the mask adjusts at least one of an audio, visual, or haptic output. The stimulus is adjusted in an effort to shift the subject's attention to the stimulus and away from racing thoughts.

SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR CONFIGURING A RULE SET FOR MEDICAL EVENT MANAGEMENT AND RESPONSES
20180008772 · 2018-01-11 ·

A system and method to configure a rule set used in connection with a medical monitoring system for monitoring patients and patient care equipment, especially medication delivery pumps, based on a variety of conditions and parameters associated with monitored biometric information and equipment information and for providing user-defined responses to those conditions and parameters.

PATIENT SPECIFIC AUTO-FLOWRATE CONTROL

A respiratory assistance system can provide high flow therapy to patients. The respiratory assistance system can include a patient interface that can deliver a gas flow to a patient and a gas source that can drive the gas flow towards the patient interface at an operating flow rate. The system can include a controller for controlling the operating flow rate of the gas. The controller can apply multiple test flow rate values in a range as the operating flow rate. For each of the test flow rate values, the controller can measure a patient parameter. The controller can determine a new flow rate value based on the measured patient parameters. Patient parameters can include respiration rate, work of breathing, or any other parameters related to the respiratory circuit.

SYSTEM FOR MENTAL HEALTH CLINICAL APPLICATION
20180011971 · 2018-01-11 ·

A system for mental health clinical application includes a virtual reality (VR) headset, a physiological sensor device and a computer device. The computer device is used to perform an illness test on a user by establishing a virtual 3D environment via the VR headset according to test data provided by the computer device. The computer device receives, from the physiological sensor device, a physiological signal of the user in response to the illness test to analyze an illness condition of the user.

Device and method of generating an enriched gas within a nasal vestibule

A device and method of generating an enriched gas within a nasal vestibule of a patient includes a housing, a chamber, a chamber inlet, a pump, a molecular sieve bed, a release outlet, and a breath duct. The chamber is configured to be received within the nasal vestibule. The pump is configured to direct an ambient air from an ambient environment into the chamber. The molecular sieve bed is positioned within the chamber and configured to collect a predetermined molecule from the ambient air thereby generating the enriched gas. The release outlet is configured to discharge the enriched gas from the chamber into the nasal vestibule. The breath duct longitudinally extends through the housing such that the breath duct is configured to fluidly communicate a fluid flow through the housing for nasal breathing by the patient while the chamber is positioned within the nasal vestibule.

APPARATUS AND METHODS FOR OPTIMIZING INTRA-CARDIAC PRESSURES FOR IMPROVED EXERCISE CAPACITY
20180008830 · 2018-01-11 ·

Systems and methods are provided for optimizing hemodynamics within a patient's heart, e.g., to improve the patient's exercise capacity. In one embodiment, a system is configured to be implanted in a patient's body to monitor and/or treat the patient that includes at least one sensor configured to provide sensor data that corresponds to a blood pressure within or near the patient's heart; at least one component designed to cause dyssynchrony of the right ventricle, and a controller configured for adjusting the function of the at least one component based at least in part on sensor data from the at least one sensor.

BREATH GUIDE DEVICE AND METHOD

An apparatus and methods enhances the energy levels of a person, in particular the relating to guiding a person's breathing to enhance energy and health. The device is a breath guide device having an airway, breathflow guiding equipment, a control unit capable of communicating with a memory unit. The control unit is arranged to control the breathflow guiding equipment in dependence on data held in the memory unit. A mouthpiece suitable for placement at a user's mouth may be included. The breathflow guiding equipment includes an electronically operated valve for regulating the flow of breath through the airway.

A METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR MEASURING A LEVEL OF ANXIETY
20230233121 · 2023-07-27 · ·

There is described a method and system for measuring a level of anxiety. Measured data comprising EEG data collected from a parietal (P) EEG electrode is received. A group 8 indicator based on a power, P-power (dt), associated with a delta-theta frequency band, dt, within a delta-theta frequency range is extracted. Based on said group 8 indicator, a level of anxiety, LoA, is determined which is a value indicative of the level of anxiety of the subject.
