A microcatheter comprising an inner layer, a strike layer and an outer layer and a braided skeleton located between the inner layer and the outer layer, wherein the inner layer is made of Polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) and has a thickness of 0.0015 inch or less, wherein the strike layer includes a polyether block amide and has a thickness of 0.001 inch or less, and wherein a distal portion of said outer layer is made of polycarbonate-based thermoplastic polyurethane having a shore of 90A or below.

Medical device

A medical device includes an elongated medical device body; a first operating line and a second operating line inserted in an axial direction of the medical device body; and a bending operating part for performing a bending operation of a distal end part of the medical device body by pulling the first and second operating lines, at an intermediate part and a proximal end part in the axial direction of the medical device body, the first and second operating lines extending in parallel so as to be spaced apart from each other in a circumferential direction of the medical device body, and at the distal end part in the axial direction of the medical device body, the first and second operating lines being curved and joined together so as to approach each other in the circumferential direction of the medical device body gradually toward a distal end side.

Single and multilayer bands and related methods

Medical appliances including reinforcing bands and radiopaque marker bands are disclosed. In some embodiments, bands may comprise two or more material layers. A first layer may control the mechanical properties of a multilayered marking band, and a second layer may exhibit greater radiopacity than the first layer. Bands may also comprise a single layer.

MEDICAL APPARATUS

A medical catheter that includes an elongate main tube, the tube having an outer wall that surrounds an internal passage, branch tubes having an outer wall connected to the outer wall of the main tube which extend outward from the main tube in different respective directions and have one or more apertures passing through their outer wall to their internal passage to permit fluid to pass through the branch tubes and into the main tube in use. The branch tubes are arranged to be able to move towards each other to permit location of the catheter within the bore of a needle or needle-like apparatus and which return to their original outwards state when removed.

CLOT RETRIEVAL SYSTEM

Catheter-delivered endovascular medical devices are described. The devices may include a pull wire attached to a distal body. The distal body may be formed of a distal body outer body comprising a basket comprised of a plurality of cells defined by a plurality of basket strips and a distal body inner body located in the interior of the distal body outer body and comprising a plurality of distal braided mesh openings formed by a plurality of woven linear strands. The distal braided mesh openings may be smaller than the cells when the device is in the relaxed state. Methods of using and making the devices are also described.

The embodiments described herein relate to a self-positioning, quick-deployment low profile transvenous electrode system for sequentially pacing both the atrium and ventricle of the heart in the “dual chamber” mode, and methods for deploying the same.

Aspiration Catheter with an Adjustable Tip for the Intracranial Circulation

An aspiration catheter useful for intracranial thrombus removal is described, along with methods of using the same. The aspiration catheter includes an adjustable tip having sides that are adjustable by an operator through the use of pull wires that extend along, and protrude from, the aspiration catheter.

Support catheter

A delivery device can be provided with a low outer profile and high flexibility for navigating tortuous anatomy. An inner lumen defined by a shaft of the delivery device provides adequate space for delivery devices to target anatomy. Additionally, the delivery device maintains the patency of its lumen even when positioned within tortuous anatomy. The turns of filar(s) forming a coil of the shaft adjust their axial spacing relative to each other to avoiding buckling that would otherwise result in a narrowing of the inner lumen.

DOME CATHETER SYSTEM FOR TRANSCUTANEOUS VACUUM ASSISTED CLOSURE OF PERIANAL OR ENTEROCUTANEOUS ABCESSES AND FISTULA TRACTS AND METHOD THEREOF
20230226267 · 2023-07-20 ·

A catheter for transcutaneous and transluminal vacuum closure of perianal or entero-cutaneous fistulas and abscesses containing a body ending in a dome having a low-friction surface and equipped with a series of openings on the surface that connect inside the catheter body into a catheter chamber, which is then connected to a tube connected to a vacuum generating system characterized in that the catheter body on the outside has edges arranged in the shape of many helicoid coils, and in the grooves between these coils the series of openings are made into the chamber inside the catheter.
